Change your account location
The first time you log in to the OfferUp app, we’ll get your location to show items near you.
If you've moved or your original location wasn't quite right, change it in your account.
In the app
1. Open the OfferUp app
2. Tap Account, then Settings
3. Tap your current location to edit it
4. Tap Get my location (iOS) or Get current location (Android), or enter your ZIP code
5. Tap Save Location

1. Go to OfferUp.com
2. Click your name. If you don't see your name, click Login and enter your email and

3. Click Settings, then click on Location
4. Start typing a ZIP code or the name of your city, then choose a location from the drop-

Tips for messaging
Answer quickly
Respond to messages as soon as you can. Great buyers and sellers typically respond
within an hour, and sometimes within seconds.

Tell them if you change your mind
If you change your mind, a simple "Thanks, but I changed my mind" will let
everybody move on. You might get banned if you keep missing pickup with a seller

These is very important to note while chatting to check whether your account is blocked
If they don’t answer, check the receipts
If the other person doesn’t respond, check that they saw your message.
Two white check marks like the ones below mean they’ve seen that message.
One green checkmark means they haven’t seen it yet.
One check for long means your account might be blocked you need to register q new account or verify phone number
When they don’t respond, it's OK to continue searching for another item or buyer. To
avoid confusion, it's kind to let them know about your change of plan
