Blame it on your elected officials not innocent yahoo boys hustling for a better future that the corrupt government could not provide.

Really? Another fraudster spotted.

Did you say innocent Yahoo boys? You must be a joke.

Your so called innocent boys left Nigeria for another country that the government is not corrupt but they still ended up doing fraud.

Nigeria is not the problem, fraud is in their blood.

There's no justification for fraudulently obtaining from someone elses' hard earned money. It's criminal. It's pilfering.

Nothing strange here other than the merchant informing you that some international credit card companies "might" decline use of their credit cards on some Nigerian merchant sites. Just the way some Nigerian bank debit and credit cards dont work on some FX/ crypto currency trading sites. Asides that, some Nigerian merchants and especially this site may generally prefer debit card payments especially to counter cases of charge backs and stories associated with Credit cards.

Like I said. Nothing strange here.

Nothing strange but is it a good thing?

Or we divide Nigeria into Educated Vs Non Educated.
Let the Educated run one part of the country and the non educated run another part of the country. Because this everyday mixup is not carrying us anywhere.

I'm just saying.

Nothing to worry about, just notify your bank about the transaction, they will enable the transaction to pass through. Just notify them, its normal no any cause of alarm. regards.

Hush is youth. All those scammers are youths. Change your condition before blaming govt. Govt can only do so much but without your cooperation as citizens their efforts are futile.

If a criminal is arrested in Nigeria by Nigeria law enforcement you bribe them to get you off the hook. If they reject your bribe you say Nigeria police are wicked. Why don't you think about facing consequences of your action and content with serving time behind bars?.

Remember, "you" in this context is universal "you".

Nothing new ! I guess you are just renewing your passport in Canada for the first time and you are just seeing this. Those guys are scammers over there. Actually, they use an agency based in New York to receive payments. If you call them, you will hear them speaking with Indian accent. They made me pay for the same passport twice because they claimed 32 page passport would not be available for a long time after I have paid for it. I was advised to apply for a 64 page passport by paying in full the second time. I have applied for a refund since January 3, 2020 and up till this moment the money has not been refunded despite my numerous emails asking for it.

My consolation is that I received the passport within two hours of visiting the embassy in Ottawa and I did not have to sleep in a hotel for several days and pay over and beyond the cost of the refund.

Fellow Nigerians.. Things are getting messier and more serious.. I tried renewing my passport now but to my greatest surprise this is the message I saw about Nigerian applicants using Credit Card for payment. What is really going on?.. do they take every Nigerian to be a fraudster or what?.. I am not understanding!.. pls who can give a clearer explanation for the reason behind this instruction?? For better understanding read the part with the blue highlight..

We need to save this country make una come to the rescue of Nigeria.. we are finished internationally cry

Politicians are scamming citizens, citizens are scamming foreigners, the non smart citizens are becoming armed robbers and kidnappers.

U dae your own, dae mind your business d country just dae spoil left right centre back yard everywhere.

True that. Was discussing with an American via twitter. Once I mentioned I am a Nigerian I chop block. Scammers should be given the death penalty
