Good day house,
Please I want advise and ideas on what next to do and how to get PNP.
I’m currently in the pool and my current CRS is 470.
NOC is 1211.
I would really appreciate ideas on how to get PNP so as to further improve my chances of getting ITA

Have you maxed IELTS? Are you married? If yes, is your spouse contributing points?

You missed it at the point you mentioned EXECUTIVE TRAINEE ROLE. ETs are core staff and mostly take up roles in NOC B.

Have you seen any ET as Teller or customer service rep?

Executive trainees start as tellers and/or customer service reps in most banks, before they move on to supervisory roles.

Good day Seniors,
I'd like to make an enquiry (especially from finance professionals) on the best pathway to obtaining a CPA in Canada.
I currently hold an Acca Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1-F3). And 8 years banking experience in Nigeria.
Apart from continuing the ACCA papers and converting to CPA, are there other avenues to getting the CPA in Canada?
Also, are there schools where one can enroll towards the CPA or its self study just like ACCA.
Kindly advice. I'd love a mentor in this line

ACCA members can convert to CPA. However, the current MRA between ACCA and CPA will expire April 2021 (it may or may not be renewed). Since you cannot complete your ACCA certification before this timeline, it is advisable to reconsider this decision.

You may wish to consider, which is in fact more flexible and also offer a path to CPA conversion through a mutual recognition agreement. Another option is to study and get certified for CPA after you land. This, however, could be more challenging considering that you will struggling to settle and earn a living at the same time.

All the best!

Hi
Thanks for responding
I actually watched you video before trying it out
The only difference now is I did not come across where to fill out the date of birth.
I'm assuming that's probably where the problem is, I'll try it out again.
Thanks alot.

Watch the video I posted earlier to do it properly...your not following the right step. Or check my ig for the step by step pictorial guide.

[quote author=yokus post=91410711]Good day and happy sunday.

Disclaimer- this is not legal advice

I don’t know who this would apply to but pls if you are a domestic abuser- male or female pls just don't bother to come.

If you come and you do the stupid act - you would be brought to book. It is quite pathetic to see how many Nigerian domestic violence issues are occurring amongst newly landed immigrants.

And this is the more reason you need to know who to get married to. Don't get married to anything in the name of love, look beyond love. My 50 cent.

It really isnt. When kasala burst, they will now be looking like sad puppy. This is not Nigeria. Intimate Partner Violence is very se

Eniolakiite:
Exactly thanks for sharing. the moment you cross the Atlantic ocean, drop all those toxic and abusive behavior. There is law and order on this side as opposed to what happens in Nigeria. There is nothing like family begging and police letting it go. Drop it now, being abusive is not something anyone should have as a trait.

As a female, After getting my PR and I get married will it be easy to bring my spouse to Canada?

Is a UK police certificate issued in 2017 still valid to be used for PR if the applicant has not entered the UK since then. Or a new one has to be issued?

Thanks for sharing. However, I stumbled on this video and seems Alberta will be reducing immigration to their province this year. For those chasing PNP in this province, it's time to intensify prayers or look else where to avoid unnecessary delays in the process.

See link below and watch the detailed analysis from the Premier after the Naija babe talk.

"The police certificate for the country where you currently live must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application"

Source: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

Some VOs are lenient with this 6 months issuance thing for PCCs, but 2017 is a bit far back. Get a new one.

you would come back home to marry. Spousal sponsorships takes 12 months on the average. Heard one can apply for work permit while the sponsorship is in progress. Work permit is about 4 months processing.

This is not Nigeria. Police will not just drop the charges because the victim said they should. It is a crime against the Crown and it is highly sensitive here- Intimate Partner Violence.

PR does not make you immune from deportation. It has Immigration consequences- criminal inadmissibility may strip you off your PR status and lead to deportation.

I'm sure we all know how tasking this process is. Is it worth landing only to get deported after?

Zero tolerance for violence and abuse from any gender.

Take care

also if your marriage is already shaky and both or one of you refuses to adapt to realities abroad it would end in divorce which favors madam most times . Husbands must do chores no more house maid, driver and gateman. Wives must also contribute to house bills no more the man is the provider, some Nigerian women refuse to drop child allowance money for the house saying it is the reward for motherhood. A Nigerian working in the family court was gisting me that some women also abuse the privileges and call police to accuse spouse wrongly of assault and your own don be. Said majority of the cases with them are Nigerians and indians. She said tho some men get am for body the way women are dealing with them is very extreme (spousal support, child support, mortgage gone, time table to see kids). To her its not by force to marry as it is in Nigeria

I really didn't know there was an issue with managerial NOCs, if not I would have paid more attention to it. The work experience is after NYSC and i was hired as a graduate intern. Also my ref letter from the company stated that the job title is graduate intern. It is annoying but that is the only that has construction project management.

Unfortunately, i don't have copies of those documents. I am sure they are even proprietary, the company would not even give me a copy of it. My supervisor has written a letter to explain more of what we do. I am hoping for the best.

Thanks.

Wow...i really do wish you the very best.
Was able to learn a thing or 2from this. Considering my NOC is (0) managerial role.

We have almost the same profile. Can we relate so we can help each other with the Alberta PNP. Administrative assistant is one of the NOCs they picked most this year. I hope it remains the same next year.

Send me a PM let's exchange numbers... We can exchange information about Alberta.

Brother why na..?? You have a leverage which can be taken advantage of, your wife is 28yrs old and has a degree with maybe 3yrs work experience..Why not make her the Primary Applicant..?? Let her add another degree to what she has already and you are good to go..For your SINP Application, it is only a Relative you can claim points for..I am happy today and that is why I responded calmly, others won't be this calm and they would drag the hell out of you.
