I love your write up, please would like to ask this question. Is poland a good country to relocate to? Though have gotten my work permit. I just want to be sure if it's a good country to relocate to before I proceed for visa application.

If you already have a work permit, it means there’s a job waiting for you. I’d say go for it. Poland is part of the Schengen countries, so you can visit Germany and other countries. I would not advice you to live there for a long time.

It is a very racist country. The kind of racists that hate you enough to attack or kill you and the police will sweep it under the rug. I know a black American guy that was attacked in Poland when he visited there for a weekend. He’s now partially blind in one eye. The police couldn’t help him either. There have been other cases of Black people getting attacked there.

The polish people in Germany are also very racist. I know some who are really cool but a large majority are dangerously racist and they see it as normal. That is why they’re usually supervisors for menial jobs in Germany. They’re good at treating foreigners like sh*t. There are also lots of Polish people who moved to Germany for a better life. They’re very weird and always stick out like a sore numb in every group.

Use it as a learning experience and a stepping stone to a better country. As it is part of Schengen, you won’t have difficulty migrating to another Schengen country. You can apply for a job in another country and relocate. There are Black people there and of course, Nigerians. I would never live in Poland, but that’s easy to say when I already live in Germany.

Welcome to the thread brother or sister. I hope you can share some information with us about life in NRW. Thanks for the invite, I drink a lot of beer and I’ll finish your money.
thank you for inviting and welcoming me to your thread. cool.
As for beer, Na you go Taya for o, I wish I drink too lol. Na so so youghurt n juice I dey take lol.

Straight to the point.
First of all, I want to appreciate the time you put together for this raw write up. It is raw because everything written up there are nothing but the pure Truth.

My experience so far as a residence of NRW, the point remains that you have said it all. I work and school. I Study at Essen. I once lived in Duisburg but currently live in Düsseldorf and I hope to go back to Düisburg because living expenses is relatively cheaper there.

I was formally staying in Sachsen and I can say there is high level of Racism there because I experienced it first Hand. I remembered going for a job interview and we were told they don't want blacks in the company Yes lol. I left there due to Racism and low employment opportunities.

I can categorically say NRW is more unless like the most dominated black State in Germany and undoubtedly the most populous State, NRW is the Kano and Lagos State of GERMANY.

Being a student in NRW- as a student here your semester card allows you to use public transports (Train,Tram,Bus) for Free, so you can travel and work anywhere within the State as big as it's lol. The social life here is cool although I'm not really the social type lol, all I do is work, study, eat and sleep, boring kinda life yeah lol. But I love adventure so I travel a lot, I'll be visiting the Netherlands this month since it's closer to us here.

As regards Job opportunities- the I.T guys have edge in terms of job opportunities so language doesn't really come to play here but as for other sectors German knowledge will definitely give someone edge but there are jobs and I mean there are many Jobs in NRW.

As regards food- I like food but I'm not fat I weigh 65KG lol. There are African stores, so getting African foods is never a problem here. I eat swallow and Ogufe, goat meat steadily lol so I don't really miss the food side of Nigeria ( Note I prepare them myself, ja I love kitchen)

As per Social Life, everything you're looking for is here, NRW is never boring except you're the boring type, so you can always explore and try new things. There are shows, festivals and clubs to explore here.

If I remember any other things, I do like to modify later.

I hope someone finds this interesting, I'm sorry I don't reply PM, you can ask your questions here so others benefit and moreso I'm the busy type. I'm writing this inside train so I'm sorry I'm advance for any typo error

My best wishes to every hopeful

God bless NIGERIA
God bless DE
Vielen Dank!

Types of Black people in Germany

1. The “Johnny just come”. These ones just landed in Germany for the first time. In most cases, their first time ever traveling abroad. You will know them by the way they dress and how they take pictures every minute.
The ones from Nigeria, Congo, Ivory Coast, those ones can dress up for Jesus. The Ghanaians usually dress like they just jumped out of 1975 and nobody warned them. But I’ll focus on Nigerian students.

These ones think they’re Wizkid. They wear different shoes every day and their wrist watch must stick out. They must make sure there’s a white person in the background of all their pictures. They don’t want to hang with other Nigerians or be around other Black people.
They only want to make white friends and they can’t wait to get a white girlfriend. Some of them have only one black friend who takes them pictures.

They also speak with fake accent and they’re too ashamed to say they’re from Nigeria. You will see them in every University party and Campus photo, and they’re usually the only Black person in the group photo. They like to dance and show off for their white friends. They see other Nigerians as local people with low IQ, and they’ll almost never go to an African shop to buy anything.

They want to do things their white friends do. Like, go bike riding, travel at the weekend, play ping-pong, pizza night, etc. You know Germans think every black person who dresses well and speaks good English, is from America. These type of Black people always get excited when people mistake them to be Americans.

One day I met a Nigerian guy who had British accent. He almost fooled me. I didn’t even know he was Nigerian until his friends introduced us. Even the way he pronounced his name “Emeka”, with a foreign accent, it sounded so cute.

I thought he was born in the UK, but this guy had never been to the UK. He just arrived from Nigeria with a British accent. He told his friends that Nigerians speak with British accent because we were colonized by the British. They believed him.
At that point I was ready to throw beer on his head.

Then there are the ones who are very Nigerian. They have strong Nigerian accent and their English is full of grammatical errors. The first thing they do when they arrive, is to find an African church to attend.
You will see them introducing themselves on Sunday: “Praise the Lord, my name is Tunde, I’m from Nigeria, I study in Göttingen and am here to student”.

They have not even dropped their bags, they already have a kitchen job to wash plates. They look for job before they attend their first lecture. They are not interested in making white friends and they don’t care about parties or clubs. They only want to work and save money.

They know about every job opportunity, scholarship opportunity, and even though they’re in Germany, they’re still helping their friends in Nigeria to gain admission to German universities.
They have worked every where and would be the ones to give you contact of an apartment they stayed in, when they went to work at Amazon in one small village.

Some of them have wives in Nigeria and some are single but not searching. They end up hooking up with that Nigerian girl in their city, who attends the same church with them. They move with other Nigerians and they speak pidgin. You will not see them eating at a restaurant or eating ice cream in the park. All they think about, is how to save money. Most of them move to another city or country after studying.

Then there are the Edo girls from Nigeria. These ones just arrived from Italy and don’t know where they’re going. They are always lost, looking for direction. You will see them at the bus station or train station, asking for directions.

When you see that Edo girl that stops you on the road like, “hello brother, pls how can I go to this place?”, you already know what she came for. In most cases, they’ll tell you their life story. “Somebody put me in the bus and say I should go here, but I don’t know when am I”.
That “somebody” is usually a man and they’ll even call the man so you can talk to him. He bought their ticket and they probably work for him.

The last one I met was in January. She was supposed to go to Hamburg and she got off in Berlin. She didn’t know where to go. I told her she needed another bus to Hamburg and she was in the wrong city. But then, she’d have to buy a ticket. Her “brother” bought the ticket and sent to her. She stressed me out that day.

She eventually asked me if she could follow me home. I replied her in my Chinese accent “no no no no, me no want, me no want”.

2. The god fathers. These ones have been in Germany for over 10 or 20 years. Don’t let the name fool you, the only thing they’ve achieved is a German passport. They don’t have a stable job and they don’t have plans. They just live in Germany and don’t plan to go anywhere else.

They feel it is their duty to educate every newcomer. You will mostly see them in African shop or in the church and they know everybody’s story. They’ll always ask you “brother, where are you from?” “you’re a student eh?”... then they start to talk about life in Germany and how you should be careful. They usually have grown up kids with white women, whom they’ve not seen in 3 years.

They’re the ones that would tell you where you can find a job, even though they themselves don’t have jobs. Their speciality is to gossip and gain your trust, then they borrow money from you and never pay back.

They are mostly Ghanaians and Nigerians and they want you to respect them. Be careful with them though, because they’re the ones to spread your secret to everybody. They’ll tell you, if you ever need anything, you should come to them. But when you need help, they won’t help you. They can’t even help themselves.

Don't fall for this bro, so you don't get ruined. There has to be other alternatives.

People most likely try to help you in most cases when they need something in return.

The fact that he's gay is just too freaky. You might get manipulated into doing things you don't wanna do.

3. The weird kids. These ones are the “Billie eilish” black people. The emo kids. They’re usually mixed race or Black Brits. A few of them are Americans but most of them are from the UK. They don’t feel like they fit into the black community. They do weird things and have weird taste in music. They also dress funny, like hipsters.

You will know them by the way they dress. They like to wear big clothes and their jeans never touch their ankles. All their friends are white and crazy. They like to attend rock festivals and listen to heavy metal music. You will always find them in the club and they get in easily, because they’re on the guest list.

The kind of music where you’ll be waiting for the beat to drop. All you’ll be hearing is sound of wind and birds and ocean, then when you look at them, they’re dancing so hard. You’ll be wondering if it’s the same song you’re listening to. They are also heavy smokers and usually gay or have gay friends.

You won’t find them doing anything with Black people. They’d rather ride a bike for 300km in the desert and go to a lake, than show up to a barbecue party. They live very care-free lives and don’t want to be judged.
You won’t see them doing a white collar job. They’re mostly artists or do jobs where they can show up with ear rings on their tongue and nose and nobody will judge them.

4. The opportunist. These ones are the worst. Be very careful with them. They have been in Germany for a long time and have their papers. They have a job, car, live alone, and they’re comfortable. They don’t mix up with too many black people and would be the ones to warn you to stay away from Africans.

They pretend like they’re trying to help you, they even offer you to stay at their house when you’re homeless. Then they use you like a slave. A lot of them are closeted homosexuals who take advantage of African guys who are illegal. They do things for you and make you feel like you owe them. When you talk to their victims, you’ll hear stories of attempted rape and maltreatment.

They’re very good at pretending and they brag about what they’ve achieved. They’ll make you feel like they’re the blueprint for success and you should look up to them. They are also the ones to call the police on you and tell the police your secrets. They pretend like they care about you and gather as much information as they can, until you’re no longer useful to them.

A lot of Nigerians who are illegal, especially the footballers, have been victims of this. You’ll hear stories of how the guy tried to touch them at night and when they refused, he kicked them out. He won’t just kick them out, he’ll also tell lies against them and destroy their name, as a way of protecting himself from gossip.
Some of their victims are too ashamed to tell people their story.

This one na Super story but ok.... how does he intend to send you an invitation to work in Germany? Is he getting you employment? You cannot send someone an invitation to work in Germany. Invitations are for visits and that is a tourist visa. To be able to work in Germany, you’d need to have secured a job and apply for a work visa, which you’ll convert to a residence permit for workers, after you arrive.

If he’s inviting you as a tourist, I’m guessing you intend to stay longer? Then you’d be illegal and have to find a way to stay. If he becomes a citizen and wants to marry you, fine. Alternatively, if he makes above €1,500 he can send you a sponsorship letter after you get admission. That is if you want to study in Germany.

Either way, if you’re not gay, let him know. If he still likes you even though he knows you’re not gay, then take the opportunity. He can’t do anything to you and he can’t force you into sex. You don’t even have to stay with him when you arrive Germany. Find your way.
Only way he can get back at you is if you’re illegal and he reports you the authorities. He’s your friend and you know what he can or cannot do. Good luck.

Good luck.

Seems like your mind is already made up. You just want someone to tell you to go ahead.

Brother, toto full everywhere. I don’t want an Edo girl that is stranded, in my house. Before you know it, one night will turn to one week, then one month. You’d have to call police to ask her to leave. Me no want abeg, no no no no...

Hahahaha. You make it sound like German women hawk sex.

An average Nigerian guy would have seen that as an opportunity. Lol

you hVe a huge point bro, am just thinking of having another backup because he himself told me some Nigerian guys who befriended gay's in Germany from naija went there and whenever the gay Germans want to touch them they call police, me I don't want to end up using him

I hope he doesn't turn you into a intimacy gadget. Just be careful man.

If he refuses to give you food, how exactly would you feed? He would obviously manipulate you into doing his biddings.

Just be smart. There might be some good sides to it too.
