It is always the Ibos that come here to gloat and brag despite the fact that Nigeria has no less than 300 ethnic groups.

Why the uncontrollable need to brag?

What are you trying to compensate for?

They brag because you guys always root for their failure.

Bragging is a way of letting you know that you failed in your evil plans towards them.

Plus they are the only group in Nigeria that has earned that right considering everything they have been through.

Yes the 2by2 shop and gala hawking business. I give it to the Igbos.

Below is another mall in Ibadan called the Grandex Mall owner by another Yoruba daughter.

We Yorubas have been doing this since God knows when and the village people are the only ones that will be chestbeating on top mall like the village is doing.

Grandex mall!

Obi of Onitsha and Onochie Ajukwu

Shut up!

Both Peter Obi combined with the two royal father does not have the number of shares Folorunsho Awomolo has.

Yoruba named Omole founded International Breweries and a Yoruba makes Folorunso owns the largest shares in International Breweries.

Ogbeni Yoruba owns the largest share in International Breweries.

I feel sorry for the crook Peter Obi and the lies he keep telling his village people in Alaigbo.

At least you should salute me for teaching you a new thing today. Now you can go to your village and tell your people that Peter Obi lied to you guys!

Meanwhile, Yorubas have been in business tay tay before Igbos know anything that is called business and they have made success of it.

Yoruba still remain the only people that have the largest indigenous industries both in Nigeria and abroad.

Yorubas do not shout because we are recognized both in Nigeria and abroad. smiley

"Yoruba has the largest indigenous companies in Nigeria.." You must be kidding! Where are they?

What the bleep did they went through? The Biafran war? You guys keep talking like three razed the whole Igboland down during the war.

Ojuiku should have thought of the repercussions before declaring a war without adequate ammunition and alliance.

This is what he always do, he will find a lie and try to derail the issue by posting repetitive things that doesn’t give enough credibility to his assertions.

Even if this thread like 5000 pages, I will continue posting the shareholders of International breweries until he accept he has been defeated.

I thought this thread was created to showcase the progress made so far by small scale Igbo retailers since 2012,,,,,,,,how the Yoruba's high jacked it and turn it to dick measuring among them selves and the Igbo's is what I don't understand.....is it just insecurity, envy or jealous......the op never said that the Igbo's are richer than Yoruba's so why the bruise??intact he didn't mention Yoruba's.

Below is also a 2014 report of the International Breweries and that showed the Chairman name then is Otunba Michael Daramola.

That showed you they always rotate the chairmanship position which is now in the Obi of Onitsha hand.

But the largest shareholder is Folorunsho Awomolo.

We have cornered the retail sector in Nigeria.
We have to maximum the profit that comes from there by pushing a greater percentage of the profit to alaigbo. This will be used to establish factories that will manufacture the goods that will be sold in these stores. We are coming.

Secondly, where the west dominates now is in poultry farming. We are growing on this too.
In addition, farms for dairy products will be everywhere in Enugu soon. We are coming.

We have 18 months to achieve all these. Our big boys are interested.

God bless igbo land.

I have said this same thing severally. I even created a thread on it, though my focus was on Ariaria. How can we be waiting on the federal government for allocation like other lazy states when we have all it takes to develop our region to world class status?! Onitsha market used to be so huge and popular before the Biafran war to the extent that buyers were coming from outside Nigeria to buy goods there.

Today, Onitsha main market and Ariaria are still operating the same way they did decades ago. There was nothing like Dubai when Onitsha main market and Ariaria were already generating billions in turnover, but today, Dubai has become one of the most advanced places in the world, and they didn't achieve that with crude oil proceeds but through trading!

If only we can generate 10% of the volume Dubai trades in Aba and Onitsha, these states will be the richest in Nigeria, and it is very possible!

Ariaria already has a pipeline built by shell that supplies gas to the area. Now, building a massive malls that can contain up to 50,000 affordable shops with central cooling system is easy. These two markets are hugely bankable and investors will fall over themselves to be involved in developing them to world class status. Nigeria is located in a central area in Africa, and it can easily become a regional trading centre that will cater for the whole of Africa, a market of over 1 billion people!

Once these markets become standardized, investors from China, EU, India and America will definitely flood because corporate brands only like identifying with sectors that are developed. These people won't like to open showrooms in Onitsha main market or Ariaria simply because of how dilapidated they are, but once these massive malls are built, you will see them opening their centers here and multiplier effect can only be imagined.

We are sitting on gold mine without knowing it.

Yorubas don't have time.
you expect him to be listing it all?

even till now I don't know the founder of the chicken republic but I know it's owned by a Yoruba.

he even showed you about 5 different malls in Ibadan alone compared to that rubbish you call mall.

Along the thread you said something that Forbes doesn't determine richness or so that the real billionaires are silent.

That means, the ranking of institutions by NUC and other ranking bodies doesn't determine the greatness of the institutions.

When it does not favour you guys, you resort to that, but when it favours you you start bragging.

That was how one of you guys dey brag of skyscraper in Enboyi or Anambra.
when Yorubas had 1 and about two 15 storey buildings before 1990.
