Morning house! Please I'm a new mum with a baby boy of 8weeks. I've noticed in d last4days ♏Ɣ baby has been having rumblings in his stomach and passing out wind a lot! He spits a lot and whenever he finishes sucking he brings out stuff frm his mouth! He poos twice a day but it is very watery n pure yellow. He doesn't have a long deep sleep any more, rather he wriggles his body every time n cries while doing that! I've tkn him to the family hospital n was told may its ♏Ɣ diet n i should give him gripe water n nosparmin n an anti biotic which i reject. I've also taken him to see Doctor @ a health center n he said he's fine as long as he sucks n doesn't poo more than 3times per day n shuldnt gv him anything.his temperature is ok-32f though he feels warm sometimes! A friend suggested i get him infancol instead of gripe water. Pls what could be happening 2 him n what can be done 2 help ♏Ɣ baby(David) thank you!

from my related experience when I had my first daughter, I was advised by a resident doctor not to use nosparmin so u r right on that, dont try to use it, secondly from what you have said so far your diet has a lot to do, more so, if her navel cord has not fallen off you might be experiencing such things as you wrote them up there, n I guess he won't be sleeping well, you may try to put his tummy down while you rub his back gently especially at night.

My two weeks old has jaudice...he was put in phototherapy for three days, yet no results.pls what can I do

If the bilirubin level is too high go to a bigger hospital where they can do EBT. (exchange blood transfusion).

If any baby develops complications from jaundice there is still hope of recovery is they go for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. But that will 'never be your portion' ijn.

Good morning.

Pls my 1month old baby makes this sound that sounds like she is snoring, initially she was throwing out food from both nose and mouth and I took her to the hospital where they gave me erythrokid (Erythromycin) and it reduced but I still notice that she makes this sound like she is snoring or having dried cough which makes her so uncomfortable.

pls what do I do cos I get to situp every night just to watch her breathing.

I'm not a Doctor yet, so I've limited knowledge in situation like this..It's better you take your baby back to the hospital for further evaluation... It's not life threatening but it's highly uncomfortable...Pls take that baby to the hospital.
