it might be that you have some toxic people around you, friends or family who are back stabbers or betrayers.

I used to have same kind of dream for many years since I was a young boy and I know I had a friend who was a great back stabber and also a very toxic family around me but now that I have moved away from those things I no longer have those dreams.
Infact the last time I had a dream like that I saw the cobra greatly wounded and I felt pity for it and allowed it to run into a hole. Since then I have not had such dream again.

I would have loved to attempt an interpretation of this disturbing nightmare if only a little more information like your state of origin is added.
