Whenever the word "submission" gets mentioned, it stirs up numerous reactions from people for different reasons. Some sigh in contempt, some feel guilt swell up inside of them, some are welled up with pride and others remain indifferent.
Submission in the context of marriage has been a debatable concept for a long time now. Some group of people advocate for mutual submission and respect in marriages, whereas, a lot of people believe that it is the woman's place to submit in a marriage, drawing inferences from the letter Apostle Paul wrote to the Early Church in Ephesians.
But is this really the case? Did Apostle Paul call for an exclusive duty of submission by wives to their husbands? If yes, is this still relevant in our time? Or has this letter to the Church in Ephesians like so many other things been thrown out of context?

If Paul did in fact call for exclusive submission of wives to their husbands, then Paul's message would indeed stand in contradiction to Jesus Christ's message that His followers not serve two masters.

For you see, Jesus Christ never made different set of rules for His followers along gender lines. They are all meant to submit to Him and Him alone.
But when Paul's letters suggests that the males are elevated to the status of Jesus Christ over the females of Jesus Christ's flock, He does not only counter the arrangement Jesus Christ made with His flock, it also sets some as being higher than others for reason of gender one was born to. That is anti-Christ in every way and sense.

It is either Paul lied or his message has been tampered with, by whom, I am not certain.
