First if all lemme say good morning to your guys, you guys are doing a great job preaching the good news about trashsion devices.

That be said i will go straight to the point, no matter how hard you guys try from now till tomorrow techno, infinix and itel will keep dominating why? Because nigeria is full of ignorant peeps. With all the preaching and bashing of trashsion device you have only suceeded in convicing 1.5 percent of nigerians.

See nigerians are not ready to leave thier ignorant ways thats why trashsion will keep cashing out, how on planet earth will you bring out a device with micro usb port and slap 1gig on top for 2020 and you expect pipo to buy it. Guess what! Nigerians are rushing it (lwkmd) go to 3 c hub at igando, slot, xperia and the likes at ikotun and see how nigerians are rushing this trash, i am not a xiaomi fan or marketer infact am currently using the elephone e10 planning to get umidigi a7 pro.

I have advice friend to stay away from trashsion but the turn around and mock me that am using phone that dont have name (weeps) telling me does phone dont have part and many of dem have not heard of the names am calling. One of my friend nick name me umidigi ( can u imagine) all this one we are shouting helio p20, p30 and a20 nigerians dont know jack about it, all they care about is the ba3 dey last? The camera good? and so on.

Thats why our politician will keep cashing out big time because of our ignorance. Little wonder the bible said and i quote "my pipo perish cos dey are stupid.

You have said the truth about majority of Nigerians

Tech buffoons are the main reasons Transsion will be relevant in the Nigerian market

But we will still always tell people over here nothing but the truth

The thing is, gradually they will understand... Back in 2014 when few of us dealers introduced people to the Chinese market, importation of xiaomi, umi ulephone and elephone etc... Many nairalanders most today who are now preachers of the same products, were the ones bad mouthing us at the time. How time flies wink I'm happy now they understand. So my message is, it's not by insulting every thread about infinix or tecno and the rest that will solve it... I'm currently using infinix note 7 and xiaomi mi max cos I'm a dealer and I choose what to use at any time I want. Peace out!

When phone sellers like 3chub and slot dey why not, Imagine I went to 3chub to buy nokia, Before i know they didn't allow me to go to the main entrance, their redirected me through a special entrance made for tecno, expecting to convince me to buy one,It like tecno are paying these people to sell their phones more than other brands

Well preaching will start somewhere, then it will spread not that fast but gradual. Like I believed most peeps visiting Nairaland are not that dumb as per say.. Reasonable ones will make research and understand who's truthful

Your submissions are on point bro.but I think the word is getting out there. As little as it is. Don't forget price plays a big in the Nigerian market place. People know quality phones but are not really ready to break the bank to have dem. The big phone companies can take over the Nigerian market any time if they can reduce their phone prices ( which is unlikely but they are trying in that regard too) to truly compete with the transsion boys.

There is a way to market a brand without talking bad about another, this is where those xiaomite got it wrong. When you continue to educate people on the features of a product without spoiling the image of another,it will draw the attention of people. But when you continue to create threads by spoiling the name of another brand,it will make many to be sympathetic. Enlightenment is the key not bashing

funny enough those new brand sell phone with great price, imagine elephone e10 with same spec with techno camon 15 goes for 37k on jumia. But nigerians always go for techno cos of part availability. Botton line is nigerians are afraid of the unknown

What concerns the average Nigerian with processor, what many want is the battery and ability to chat and make calls. The only people that disturb themselves with processors are those that have enough time to play games on their phones. How many people in Nigeria multitask with their phones.
One thing for sure is that the early birds gets the best worms, Transion will continue to dominate the Nigeria market for a long time.

Bless you for this comment. In December, I went to Slot in Warri to buy my mother a surprise Xmas present, Redmi Go, as I entered, they arranged Transsion tables at the entrance and hid the Xiaomi table at one very far corner. See babes with push up bras and perfumes in my face. if not that i had made up my mind for Xiaomi and Xiaomi alone, hmm....I rest my case.

in any case, dealer outlets also try too to promote Transsion products as well at the expense of the others.

Exactly, that's why they keep launching phones and are selling... Tecno already has a name and that's what people are buying

my quarrel with dem is ot wether dem dey produce gabbage my quarrrel is the price dey slap on it (jesu). Techno camon 15 is suppose to go for 23,500 (lekmd) while all does spark gabbage should go for 18,650.

frubben most of the things you posted is what I have been preaching on this platform. Secondly, the internet is there for you to search for your desired phone and then make decision. While transsion coy has good marketing team and easy access to their products, new brands like xiaomi,Vivo, Reno with the exception of Samsung and Nokia doesn't. Tecno applies good marketing skills in selling their products to the public whereas the acclaimed value for money is relying on words from supposedly users to sell in Nigeria. If tecno had used that method,am sure they wouldn't have given Samsung and Nokia headache. You did mention over priced phone, most phone companies does that hence tecno isn't the only involved. They apply price skimming on their brands then watch the reaction of the customers. So a knowledgeable customer like you can decide to buy their products or opt in for another by ordering from eBay, Amazon etc however, the man on the street doesn't have that time. All he wants is a phone that can browse, good camera quality and a reasonable ram size. They don't care if the processor speed is fast or not. Most of them are not game freak like I see when some moniker tag heavy usage on the basis of gaming. I remember vividly when a moniker said that heavy usage is relative ie it depends on what you use the phone for. So when some monikers keep ranting and derailing threads on nairaland, transsion coy are smiling to the bank. Rather than create threads to educate people like one moniker called atheistandproud, they choose to move from one thread to another. Hence, the more these persons derail thinking they winning supposedly war, the more many Nigerians become sympathetic to tecno. Oppo is sponsoring big brother Nigeria, let's see if their advertisment would convinced most Nigerians to switch to their product.
