The E-commerce giant, Alibaba ($BABA) seems to present great opportunities at current price ($254.81) or below. News filtering out today shows that $BABA's online payments subsidiary, the ANT Group is coming out on dual IPO to be listed in both the Shanghai and Hong Kong exchanges. It will be the biggest IPO globally in 2020 and the 3rd biggest IPO ever, behind both $BABA (no.2) and Saudi Aramco (no. 1).

The ANT Group is currently valued at over $150 Billion USD, which clearly indicates that it is bigger than some Wall Street Banks and guess what, Mr. Jack Ma, through $BABA owns a third (33%) of ANT shares, which should impact positvely on $BABA's earnings, as long as Mr. Market recognizes this.

Same as Webull. You need social security etc.

Outside US, has very few efficient trading apps like robinhood.

$OPKO already performing wonders today. It is a medical testing and medication company, which has inked deals with NFL, NBA and MLS to test for Covid-19. Share price surged up 27% in few hours of trading due to market reaction to above news. Let's see if it sustains this run. Got in at $5 and now $6.28.

Great stocks to buy and hold long term, regardless of the very steep share prices. Excellent call on $NIO, in spite of the recent price downgrade to about $7 by Goldman Sacks (GS) analyst. China has the fastest growing and largest electric vehicle (EV) market in the world and $NIO should come good soon. I'm long on this one and some others on this list.

Feelers from market insiders show that GS sold 'calls' and for them to buy back the $NIO shares cheap, they had to downgrade, which basically made $NIO calls expire worthless. This scare tactics made small retail investors sell off their shares. It should be noted that big Market Makers (MM) and Brokerage firms also trade in the same markets as us, the retail investors and would go to any length to buy any shares of coy they want at relatively cheaper prices.

I have 8 out of the 12 on that list and hope to add the rest and build them up going forward.

Am so long on NIO, no matter how low they downgrade, am only going to use it to my advantage and buy more.

Acorda Therapeutics ($ACOR) has surged about 10.5% since market opened today after it was granted patent on methods invented "for cardiomyocyte treatment and diagnosis using NRG-2 polypeptides, nucleic acid molecules, and antibodies. The invention also provides novel NRG-2 polypeptides and nucleic acid".

This was a good but risky bet for day trading. Went in on huge volumes at $0.74 and jumped out at $0.81. JIJO (jump in & jump out) trading for me on this one.
Not a recommendation to buy. DD required as usual.

Stock Analysis: Twitter ($TWTR)

From Techincal analysis, $TWTR has formed a 'golden cross' on its daily price chart, with the 50-day SMA ($32.88) line crossing above the 200-day SMA ($31.87) line. While a golden cross typically signifies a technically bullish phase and buy signal, the recent incident where the Twitter accounts of prominent folks like Biden, Obama et al were hacked, could potentially impede any potential price bull run. Another concern is that the golden cross on $TWTR's chart was formed with reducing daily volumes traded, instead of increasing daily traded volumes of its shares.

Hence, no investment decision is recommended at this time, until $TWTR's upcoming 2Q2020 earnings report on July 23, which should give traders a clearer picture to determine if the share price is undervalued or overvalued at current price.

Choi! This one na village people abi na wetin? Wanted to get into PFE last week as I was taking position in BNTX. Good entry point, but when I looked at the three month performance, the stock is a slow mover like JNJ. Now this. Would take up position when the selling frenzy hits the market when it opens.

What do you guys think?

$AZN is really pissing me off

This stock, $ACOR seems to be on steroids. Already surged 12.24% to $0.92 in early hours of trading today. Still a very risky bet.

The market seems to be weary of pharmaceutical stocks amidst the endless drama of Covid-19 vaccine trials. There wasn't a surge in $AZN's price, in spite of its very promising vaccine trial result. Pfizer ($PFE) has a very good dividend yield and its a good stock to have in a portfolio. Not sure if this news would make it fly, but $PFE is expected to beat earnings estimates when 2Q2020 report is released on July 28, which may propel the stock on a sustained bullish run.

I expect this $AZN price dip to be temporal. Apart from the covid-19 vaccine trials, $AZN has many drugs in its pipeline, including vital lung cancer and oncology treatments that are high revenue earners globally.
