I flashed that Disable Force Encryption DFE zip file but not successful, always bring one kind error. I will try Mr Olayinkajnr 's suggestion to reboot to Orange Fox recovery immediately after formatting data (d one with yes to format) and then flash the DFE zip file whenever I'm done with MASIK and considering moving to Evolution X or Quartz Extended ROM

Hello xiaomi.eu fans, if you use RN7, stable Miui 12 just dropped... Finally! This should give RN5pro users a glimmer of hope. Whyred will likely be released in the next couple of days/weeks. I don't use weekly version of their roms, otherwise I would've been rocking Miui12 since last month. I prefer stable versions.
Congrats to Lavender community cool

Actually, MIUIMIX which is also based on Xiaomi.eu is the cleanest ROM. Xiaomi.eu vendors are modified. MIUIMIX uses stock vendor which gives smoothest experience and good battery backup.

Actually MIUIMIX is based on EU rom, not Xiaomi.eu.. There's a difference. And while I haven't actually tested MIUIMIX, I've studied the features and user reviews & I can't imagine it cleaner/smoother than xiaomi.eu. I flashed this rom same day my phone arrived from Aliexpress, and it's been almost two years now and the thought of porting to something different haven't even occurred to me yet, because Xiaomi.eu is simply the best! cool

MIUIMIX is based on xiaomi.eu and not EU ROM.

The lead developer uses Redmi 7 so I'm very sure. I've used both MIUIMIX and Xiaomi.eu ROM for said device and I can confirm what I posted up there. Even miglobe is based on Xiaomi.eu

And there's no MIUI ROM that I haven't tried. Including Masik.

The only ROMs not based on Xiaomi.eu are Miroom which is based on Chinese rom and EasyROM which is based on global stable ROM.

Lol.. How about this XDA page? Anyways, whatever base it is, my opinion remains unchanged. How many people even use MIUIMIX? grin Coz I'm yet to see on this thread. People hardly ever mention it here!.. I mean, compare the Telegram subscribers of both ROMs..That of Xiaomi.eu is almost four times the size of MIUIMIX, and that's not even the accurate figure as lots of users don't use Telegram. Xiaomi.eu is based on China ROM, while MIUIMIX is based on... well... Xiaomi.eu (as you say).. What does that tell you? Can you trace the hierarchy? Now tell me; who's the real boss? grin Who's your daddy? grin
Check xiaomi.eu web and you'll see why users worldwide unanimously agree that the rom is the cleanest...

Lol.. Look at Messi grin Today he's globally considered the GOAT even as he hasn't actually explored life outside the confines of Barcelona FC. grin Sometimes you don't need that bro.. MIUIMIX doesn't even come close.. I've read lots of reviews.. Don't tell me I've been misled by user opinions and comparisons with Xiaomi.eu grin

Of course, you opinion remains unchanged which is highly respected. I just gave my opinion on the two coz I've used them.

Now, about fan base, Xiaomi.eu is larger which I already stated in my response to Grand.Mufti. Plus, they started first so it is expected that their fan base will be huge. If we go by that, same can also be said about other ROMs. How many people here knows about Hellas MIUI, EasyROM, even RevOS? MIUIMIX is so new. Not up to 2 years. Few people do compared to Xiaomi.eu.

I'm part of the few that used MIUIMIX and also used xiaomi.eu and based on my own experience, I can confirm that MIUIMIX is the cleanest and smoothest due to the unmodified vendor which aids battery life too as I already mentioned in my first post to you.

Also, shifting from ROMs, how many people know about Xiaomi or Redmi in Nigeria compared to Transsion? At least average phone users will always pick Transsion over the new entrant. Same logic applies to Xiaomi.eu and others.

Plus, I'm not even arguing that Xiaomi.eu is not their daddy since I already confirmed that others uses it as a base (so we are saying same thing here). I'm just stating my observation from using both ROMs based on smoothness and battery backup (which you can't comment on because you haven't used MIUIMIX).

The only edge xiaomi.eu has over others is large fan base as stated in your post (undisputed) and large developer support. Other ROMs uses xiaomi.eu as a base for theirs with little changes. So this is expected. Xiaomi.eu is the AOSP of MIUI ROMS. It doesn't mean it's better given that you are yet to try others. If you do, we can continue the discussion.

To further agree with you that Xiaomi.eu is their daddy due to the above, MIUIMIX have little support from user, hence, the reason why they can't push OTA yet. Doesn't mean what I stated from my experience with using both device is wrong. Experience is the best teacher.

From my experience with AOSP ROMs too, no one can come here and tell me that AEX is better than ion OS that grandmufti uses.

Don't push me to try this ROM bro.. I refuse to be tempted grin
I read A LOT of user reviews before flashing ROMs and some reviews from people worldwide who've tested MIUIMIX are not exactly flattering.
But as you say, it's still a budding ROM that needs to be given some time. Until then tho, allow me to cruise in the cradle of Xiaomi.eu unrivaled smoothness grin
Thanks your understanding grin
