Vivo Y33 Chinese Stock ROM Needed by mattjoe(m): 7:34pm On Jul 29, 2020
Good evening NL... Please is there anyone using Vivo Y33 Chinese version? I need the backup to revive my phone. All the ones I downloaded online didn't work (after flashing my phone will automatically boot into recovery mode after I power it on).

Note: My volumes buttons are working properly, it's not like they are pressed in for it to booting that way into recovery mode.

Use firmware upgrade option. If you are using so flashtool

Thanks but I've done all that. I have flashed with 3 different ROMs from 3 sites. I used ordinary Download, Format all + Download and Firmware upgrade, but still the same thing.

I'm going to try this backup you gave me now. Let me download it. Thanks once again.

I was trying to beat NEPA. They were going to take the light by 2pm and it was 1:30pm, so I was in a hurry to flash (it was a desktop). ��

Correct!! This is exactly how I was able to revive back the phone this morning. I chatted up the Vivo company on Facebook through their site and they gave me the firmware required to bring the phone to life.

After downloading I noticed the system file is not in .img format but .dat (system.new) and I guessed it wasn't meant for SP Flash Tool, so I flashed it using the "Apply update from external sdcard" in recovery mode (screenshots attached).

So now I'll just need to search the group on how to write the IMEI back using SN Writer. It's been long I used the tool.

congrat,vivo phone can only be flashed or upgraded via SD card update. Don't try using so flashtool it would work.

use miracle box to write imel.the success rate is high compare to SN writer.
