Sorry I'm bringing this here, I just feel there must people here with lots of experience about parcels sent to Nigeria from the UK.

An item was sent to me from the UK since 30th of May through Royalmail but it hasn't arrived. The last update about the item was on June 2nd and it reads "Your item has left the UK and on its way to destination country". The service used won't provide further details once parcel leaves the UK.

Local post office here say they can't track the parcel on their system. Please has anyone here used Royalmail with this period? I want to know whether the item is lost or they've just done me strong thing here by stealing it. I'm worried...

Thanks.

It might have been lost. I once had a document sent through Royal Mail to Lagos but it never got delivered. Eventually had to use DHL.

Which post code? It used to be £10 then they made it £20 for some far places. I called them to complain oh and they changed my post code back to £10 cheesy cause Wallahi those people are the best thing to happen to me.

Honest folk, FRESHHHH FOOD! The sweetest yam in this UK and we like yam in my house smiley
.
Also it’s £10 per large carton so if your load is plenty it might be higher.

To be fair it quite a distance because I live in West London and Basildon is like East so opposite ends . I was thinking it would be free shipping tongue so as I saw £20 I waka

Website doesn't specify if resident or not. Her result came by email and text so printed via email.

I know loads of people (return flight whatsapp group) who used the service (walk in or drive through) with no issues whatsoever.

Ace2013:
Hello, i am not sure if this is for people on visit visa. I think its only for residents. I didn't want to take any risk to avoid any comeback for using NHS service. I called the NHS and they said the result is by text only. The airline ( Airpeace) needs a test result and i believe they need an actual paper result not text message. That was why i had to pay for this to avoid missing the flight ( that would mean 400,000 naira gone). Do you have any one that used the evac flight with that free COvid 19 text message result from NHS?

Have you got your drivers licence?
How easy is it learning manual in the UK if one uses automatic in Nigeria? I learnt that automatic cars in UK are very expensive compared to the manual ones.
I have a provisional license, plus an international license that's still valid for a few months. I'd be running on that till i can book a drive test. I'm having lessons for a manual, but I might end up getting an automatic, although from what I've seen the best deals are on manual vehicles.

Yes, I have just requested for covid 19 test home kit for £150 which includes dr's signature. I checked if NHS can do for free but they said that cannot be used for travel. So i had to make a request from a private clinic https://www.citydoc.org.uk/covid-19-fit-to-fly/. If you decide to go this evac route be prepared to spend at least £1K which includes the flight of course. Sadly, this is how Nigeria keeps failing its citizens. No one knows when the airspace would be opened and not after Airpeace has secured evac contract. God dey

I ordered a Covid home kit free and got my results within 24hrs. I didn’t have any symptoms it was out of curiosity..

Major concern is if the NHS covid 19 test is the same as required by the airlines which is PCR covid 19 test. Do you know anyone who has used the evac flight pls ? http://www.nigeriahc.org.uk/uploads/news/NewGuidelinesArrival.pdf .

If it's the Nigerian-type smoked skin goat meat, it's illegal to sell in the UK for hygeine reasons. They call it ''smokies'', and it has been banned for years. I have been looking for it to buy for years.
