Nigerian Prophet wants to shut down #bbnaija with his spiritual power.

“Shut down BBNaija now or I will shut it down with my spiritual capabilities” Prophet Ebelenna Chukwu tells FG.

A Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Ebelenna Chukwu, has vowed to use his spiritual capabilities to shut down the ongoing reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, if the Buhari-led government fails to do so.

According to the prophet, the future of the Nigerian child is at stake if the Nigerian government should allow the program to continue. He said the program is propagating pornography.

He vowed to shut down the program if the government fails to shut it down.

''If Nigerian government did not shut BBNaija down, I will shut them down by force. With my spiritual capability, I can do it. I know who I am. I am not a prophet that is boasting'' he said

Let's be realistic and fair here, it is impossible to see people agreeing to a particular thing. The country is mess up as it stand,there is hardship,hunger and sorrow ravaging. What keeps many Nigerians going is entertainment so you don't expect one man from no where come on social media to force his views on us. The prophet should channel his energy towards finding solutions to the mayhem peptrated by bandits and kidnappers instead of praying to stop a show that is feeding some persons. Rather than call fire and brimstones,he should be examine the level of holiness in his church. Infact, holiness messages are scarce. Many pastors had failed in their responsibilities, the few who sticked to holiness are been mocked and called names. Our politicians are smart, they use things most Nigerians love to divert their attentions. Big brother Nigeria is rated 18 and viewers are free to watch the show or switch to another channel. The truth is, many Nigerians including pastors are secretly watching that show,they just pretend on air. If he or any sees pictures popping on social media,he should scroll down. Whatever is happening now is as a result of failed leadership from the church. When the church get things right then you would see many with good morals.

From view points of point, let's even lay aside the pastor or prophet statement about this ongoing ugly and evil practices on our live TV show. Wisdom demands that the right thing be done at the right time, even if this is considered to be the right thing, which in the actual real human sense it's not, please is this the right time for any reasonable society to allow this unrealistic, unproductive, unprofitable and uncultured event to be a trending show on our TV? Taking a glance at our society today, can anyone really touch his/her heart and say all is well with us in any area of human lives? We're surrounded by many negatives: unemployments, banditery, bokoharam, political unrest, thefts, road accidents, pandemic, collapsed economy..name it, and you think this is the project left for our nation to embark on? Sometime I begin to wonder the rate at which poverty has really affected the mentality of the youth in this country. If you like watch BB naija till you die, it will not reduce your problem but outrightly add to it, neither will it make any reduction to the problem of our society, rather, it will inflate the number of recorded rapes and uncultured behavior among our youths. Fighting against religion in this issue will not help our society in any way, if we must progress as a nation, we must tell ourselves the bitter truth when the need arises. Thank you!

Has there been a right time? During the first edition of big brother Nigeria we witnessed some of the issues raised by you, the country was never in a good shape and will never be. During the last elections, how many Nigerians voted for those young men, because if majority did by now there would have been a slight improvement in country. Taking about religion, what do you expect from a faulty foundation? Christianity for example in Nigeria is messed up, holiness messages is scarce. Churches like deeper life had been mocked by other Christians because they stick to their sound doctrines,so don't expect anything to change. It is as result of the faulty foundation that has resulted to rebellious act on churches. There is no unity in the church talk more of the country.

Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for their hypocrital acts. Most of those housemates that are "acclaimed " Christians , go about exposing their unclothedness to the public. Ironically, should any win, he or she will be embraced by his pastor. Personally I don't watch big brother because I see no need, even if there naked pictures of those housemates on various platforms, I scroll to another page.

My prophet, well said. I watched BBA the very day it started and that was the last. It is their choice to participate and it is my choice to also not to watch. Those youths are some of the multitudes Ahmad Lawan and his group of demigods who have made themsellves employement officers of government jobs. Imagine what they are doing with the LG jobs of how much? My chidren will not do it because they say it's immoral does not give me right to condem them, at lest, it is better than they committing suicides out of depression the Nigerian government choose for those who cannot carry the weight of pains it poses on them
My prophet, do you think BBA is the problems of Nigeria her youth? No. I heard you have the power so, I would have thought you will say spiritually you will close the politicians that have deliberately caged 99.9percent of the destines of the Nigerian youths. You have the power to do it, so rather than BBA , I beg of you, kindly use it for Nigerian politicians spiritually so that the Nigerian youths will live up to their destines God in His infinite mercies bestored in them. Raji Fashola once said there are no white collar jobs so the youths learn vocation which majority did and were not empowered after it turned night mares because Fashola did not create light which will help them to work.
