Since when do you need to be part of Nigeria to sell goods and services to Nigeria? Abeg make we hear word
on the other side they also need the biafra market to sell thier cows and agro products. But while we have the tech and sea we and can make do with poultry piggery and ranches , the north has no options cos almost all of them have the same product if they make us angry we get it from another country

Who cares about fight or no fight....thats your problem in your own enclave what you do with your machette.....Im concerned with labour and productivity.

What im saying....there needs to be acknowledgement when we see a state doing good. Abia is doing good. Aba people just posted their achievement in shoe production. Respect and honor it.

Your shoe warehouse in Nnewi has been there a long time....why are you choosing this momwnt to bring it out and kill Aba glory. Ehhn? Jealousy go kill una for dat Anambra.

Afonjas like you are the ones jealous of what is happening in Igbo land.
Because all you people wish Igbos is evil.

Aba shoe manufacturers are not complaining because Igbos don't fear competition like lazy ass from west.

You are NAIVE to the point of blind stupidity if you think you can secede from Nigeria and the Nigerian govt will still allow you to import your foreign goods into Nigeria. Even YOU will have to show your papers to be anywhere in Nigeria like Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Jos, Benin etc, because you WILL be deported en masse to the east if you secede. Good luck dealing with Nigerian police in showing your residency permits.

Ignorant mind, the market is located in Nkwelle in Oyi LGA, one of the towns that make up large Onitsha metropolis, not Nnewi, Nnewi is known for Auto manufacturing and host the largest auto market in West Africa not footwears Anu, I understand your envy over Anambra state grin both states Anambra and Abia are home of indigenous products in Nigeria, not your people that rely on others.

. Shut up if you have any thing to say, other African countries will buy you if your dead Nigeria didn't buy

Dumbass moro.n. Other African countries will buy indeed. Because you are who? Why would they abandon CHINA and ITALY (in this case of shoes) to buy from you? What are you? A market newcomer from some anonymous tiny African country, hoping to compete with China and Italy to sell shoes in Africa?

Illiterates with no common sense.

Do you know that China today can commit 100 billion dollars just to depress prices in a particular industry and kick you out of the market? This is if you even actually became competition for them.

I see why you are pained. It goes back to my original entry post.

Anambra fear competition from Aba. You know they are the best state in Iboland in terms of labour and productivity...you cannot match them.

You are the best in crime. It explains why you always flaunt wealth and call yourself richest in Iboland...but has no labour or productivity ro back up your money. grin

Lets give it to Aba....the top in production and resourcefullness.

When Aba man show money we see where it came from. His labour.

When Anambra show money we start wondering the source. grin

Nobody cares if its located at Onitsha bridge head or in Awka.

In productivity and manpower, you are small boy beside Aba.

This is very good and commendable, local production of goods like these need to be encouraged, the #DoSomethingEpic initiative is one example that gives room to establish that idea you have. With initiatives like these, step by step unemployment will be reduced to the minimum in the country as a whole

All the more reason why the Biafra idea is STUPID.

Who will be the primary market of this expansion in Anambra State?

NIGERIANS.

Africa's biggest market, and the world's 6th largest consumer market.

Secessionists imagine that they will be able to sell these wares to the world, and don't need the Nigerian market. But they are seriously deluded. Countries are putting up protectionist barriers to build their own local industries. Others like China, have comparative advantage in manufacturing, and will leverage that to start price wars if need be, lowering them to stave off any competition.

Many buying countries would simply prefer the familiarity of Italian or even China made products, and would shun new, unproven stuff from some little African country.

Bottom line: For these Eastern industries to thrive, and take off to the next level, THEY NEED THE NIGERIAN MARKET.

Secession kills that immediately.

Nigeria is projected to become the world's THIRD most populous nation after China and India by 2050.

That is MARKET on a world class scale which Igbo manufacturers can have FIRST ACCESS TO BEFORE ALL-COMERS, if they play their cards right, and remain in the federation.

That FIRST ACCESS to the Nigerian market is already happening slowly, as groups like INNOSON and others get government supply contracts. INNOSON even supplies the Nigerian Airforce with equipment now.

As we approach 2050, the Igbos could become the richest ethnicity in all Africa, and among the richest on earth, if they remain...Nigerians.

A word is enough for the wise.

Oga do not criticise what you do not understand, Biafra may not make sense to you but believe me; it is resetting the brain of our adversaries.

99% of you would be deported to the East. We are talking of the remaining 1% and they can't compete with China.

If they raise their prices, they will be priced out of the market by Chinese goods.

They may even turn beggars on Nigerian streets.

What is agbo?

Nah! Everyone has their strength.
Aba, Onitsha and Nnewi are for commerce and manufacturing.
Abakiliki advanced agriculture.
Enugu tourism and manufacturing.
Owerri is the seat of eastern petrochemical and tourism.
Fisheries in areas like Asa, and Anam.
However, Shoe and cloth manufacturing and other small scale craft can happen in areas like Nsukka, Orlu, Ahiara, Aguleri, Ekwulobia, Udi, Afikpo, Arochukwu, Okigwe etc.
You must be a student of Igboland history my brother. God bless you
