You are NAIVE to the point of blind stupidity if you think you can secede from Nigeria and the Nigerian govt will still allow you to import your foreign goods into Nigeria. Even YOU will have to show your papers to be anywhere in Nigeria like Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Jos, Benin etc, because you WILL be deported en masse to the east if you secede. Good luck dealing with Nigerian police in showing your residency permits.
Must afonja talk about biAfra whenever they see any Igbo thread This is becoming a psychological obsessive disorder.. anyways the birth of biafra means the death of Nigeriaangry

See jealousy.

So because Ngwa people post shoe factory from Aba now you want show us your factory in Anambra too.

Why cant you Anambra people just acknowledge that you are not always the best or most progressive in alaibo.

For your information Aba is far ahead of you in labour and productivity.

Outside of Lagos i think i will admit that Aba is next most productive hub in West Africa.

Stop competing with Ngwa. When they share progress and success of their toil....clap and applaud and support their leadership instead of distracting it with fake shoe warehouse in fake Ibo state.

All the more reason why the Biafra idea is STUPID.

Who will be the primary market of this expansion in Anambra State?

NIGERIANS.

Africa's biggest market, and the world's 6th largest consumer market.

Secessionists imagine that they will be able to sell these wares to the world, and don't need the Nigerian market. But they are seriously deluded. Countries are putting up protectionist barriers to build their own local industries. Others like China, have comparative advantage in manufacturing, and will leverage that to start price wars if need be, lowering them to stave off any competition.

Many buying countries would simply prefer the familiarity of Italian or even China made products, and would shun new, unproven stuff from some little African country.

Bottom line: For these Eastern industries to thrive, and take off to the next level, THEY NEED THE NIGERIAN MARKET.

Secession kills that immediately.

Nigeria is projected to become the world's THIRD most populous nation after China and India by 2050.

That is MARKET on a world class scale which Igbo manufacturers can have FIRST ACCESS TO BEFORE ALL-COMERS, if they play their cards right, and remain in the federation.

That FIRST ACCESS to the Nigerian market is already happening slowly, as groups like INNOSON and others get government supply contracts. INNOSON even supplies the Nigerian Airforce with equipment now.

As we approach 2050, the Igbos could become the richest ethnicity in all Africa, and among the richest on earth, if they remain...Nigerians.

A word is enough for the wise.

But you heard that people from Niger, Cameroon, Chad, Gabon, C.A.R etc are coming to buy the same shoes. Are they all part of Nigeria? Must Anambra share the same country with Kano for their goods to be sold in Kano?

Bigots kids everywhere on this forum. It baffles me seeing kids sounding so senseless and myopic just because of stereotypical way of thinking inculcated from some acient fathers whose aim unknowingly to these kids is to enrich their 10th generation in advance but pretending to be a real patriotic son of the soil. Kids open your eyes, other kids in different part of the world are taking the advantage of technology to better their living and not fraud and bigotry. Lazy youth indeed!

Lol, you just highlighted your ignorance of the reach of the traders in those markets. For your info, their current market reach includes Cameroon, Guinea Bissau, Morocco among a host of other smaller markets. The nigerian market is a fragmented and shared one that includes competition from traders in Lagos, as well as the Chinese.
