Gracious David-West;The Port-Harcourt Strangler


Gracious David-West born in 1980 is a suspected serial killer from Nigeria. From July until September 2019 David-West is suspected of killing at least 15 women, mostly in the city of Port-harcourt.He was apprehended on 19 September 2019. He later confessed to a total of 15 murders.

David-West reportedly had a tough childhood, he claims that his mother was poisoned and that as the only son of his father much was expected of him but he could not deliver.He claimed that he attended the branch of the Lords Chosen Church in Obigbo where he said that he confessed to the pastor that he had been killing women. The pastor reportedly invited him to a crusade prayer service to heal him.


In a confession, David-West claimed that he had "an irresistible urge to kill" and every night from June to his capture in September he scoured the streets for women in his vehicle.He would proceed to then go to a local hotel where he and the woman would eat, have sex, and then go to bed. In the middle of the night David-West would wake up the victim and threaten her with a knife. He would then turn the television or the radio on high volume, and using strips of cloth he had cut from the pillow cases, he would tie up the victim before manually strangling her.

He was arrested when in the early morning of 19 September 2019, a woman who had accompanied to a hotel woke up to David-West tying her up and preparing to suffocate her. David-West was arrested and charged with homicide.

Moses Sithole (says alot) “The South African Strangler” “The Gauteng Killer”




Known as the Ted Bundy of South Africa, Moses Sithole was arguably the most dangerous and yet charming of African serial killer. He was intelligent, polished, and psychopathic. To lure victims, he established a dummy organisation called Youth Against Human Abuse, purportedly dedicated to eradicating child abuse. He would then invite applications from women for various positions. Answering the call was the first mistake because the mild-mannered, smartly dressed executive was not what he seemed.

After the interview, Sithole would lead his victims through an open field where he would then attack them, drag them away from sight, rape them, and strangle them with their own underwear. He then carved the word ‘BITCH’ on their corpses. Sometimes, he would call the victims families to taunt them. Sithole first did this in Atteridgeville, then Boksburg and finally Cleveland in Johannesburg. When the pattern was finally uncovered, the murders became widely known as the ABC murders. They attracted national attention, forcing even President Mandela to personally appeal for public assistance.

Sithole’s spree ended when a witness confessed to having seen Sithole with one of the victims. Background checks revealed that he had been arrested for rape in his teens and had served seven years. When he realized he had been made, Sithole disappeared. He reappeared in October 1995 when he made a call to journalist Tamsen de Beer. In characteristic psychopathic pride, he claimed 76 victims and gave directions for a body that had not been found.

The manhunt began in earnest and ended on a Johannesburg street with Sithole writhing on the ground, immobilized by three bullets, including one in his buttocks. During his trial, Sithole claimed that he had killed women because they reminded him of the women who had falsely accused him of rape. He was found guilty of 40 rapes and 38 murders. He had killed 37 young women and one child. The court sentenced him to a total of 2, 410 years in jail, with a possibility of parole after 930 years.
I think this guy and the Jeffery Dahmar ,takes top spots on this one...

Believe it or not,there are milions of fans of serial killers worldwide.That's why we see hundreds of books,movies,documentaries,videogames and tv shows based on their exploits.If those serial killlers in foreign countries garner so much attention,why cant African serial killers share a bit in the spotlight?
The OP should not forget to add the Nigerian serial killer Gracious-David West .His story is fascinating

Moreover, if you also say that it's biological which I'm not saying it isn't, will you please explain how five people can be biologically predisposed to commiting such crimes such as the Egyptian killers that was highlighted. I think it might be biological but may also be because of economic reasons and other factors.

It is actually good advice.If you look closely,many of the serial killers victims are women and almost none of them were attacked or forced to follow their eventual killers.Many of them were persuaded by their killlers to follow them.The most skilled at this was Ted Bundy.He would approach the ladies and speak to them calmly,with a slight smile and he would usually approach ladies who were in pairs (2 together)because they were easier to convince.He would talk about anything to get their interest at first;the weather,tell them his name,talk about the people around them etc.The other one is Ed Kemper who convinced a lady to come out of her hiding spot in the bush after he tried to strangle her.How did he do it?By speaking calmly,firmly and with surety to her

yes Ed Kemper , who I personally love and fortunately still alive today (behind bars) , is a model in mate, he turned himself in because to be honest no one could stop him , he had the co ed. Badge , a car , his mom's id, a job , no CCTV , no prints ,he was this precise


Another was Jeffery Dahmar, calmly leads his victims to his room , take pictures of them , he was really artistic , sadly we may need see another Dahmer for a couple of more decades , but as for Bundy , we still have them lots , even here in guise of uncontrolled anger , street fights , etc , the likes of chikatilo the child Rostov ripper I hope his specie never walks the earth again , I'll recommend this Dahmar movie though ,.
