Good morning great people,

I'm about to take a decision concerning my job. I started this job from scratch, and now my monthly take home is 200k.

it's a financial firm, and the job is strictly Target/profit driven..

I received a mail from HQ exactly 10:15PM to go to another Dept (thats I will be starting form scratch again), that's looking for fresh Customers, exactly how I started the job back in 2017. I wasn't notified prior to this.

and from the HQ, I was told they are surprise that the regional manager didn't tell me before sending mail requesting for me to be moved to different dept, that I should I engage him and give a feedback.

the regional manager is a kind of person that see himself as God, your opinion do not matter when he's talking, and will be insulting your person, which is against the company ethic.

I have won several award (best in class sales man of the year) but the regional manager will never be satisfies with my input.

aside from my salary, I have other investment that gives me 300k on monthly basis. I'm thinking of quiting the job and focus on how to expand my investment and look for a reliable federal Job to buy.

please I'm in need of your advice

That business is only looking bright in your eyes because your Job bear most of your Bills.. when 100% pressure is put on that business, would it have the strength to recycle itself while growing, and still pay you a considerable profit to cater for your family?

There is going to be a massive drop in standard of living alongside a sharp increase in cost of living when you loose the job, do you have a cushion for that? are you ready for that now Nigeria is really bad economically?...

Has the business that generates the 300k paid its capital before you start calculating generation as profit?

Well use your head.. you wont know how important a constant 100k is until you venture into business fulltime.

You are living because your boss sees himself as a demigod who never appreciate you inputs and dedication to the work?

You are living because there will be a cut in your salary from the new department you were transferred to?

. Bro, I am also in sales and I can feel your pain. it is not easy to market for a new company, now the company is recognized then you are moved to a new place to start another business for the company.

I will advise you not to quit yet, especially during this pandemic because the street is really tough now. Since your salary is not touched, it is an avenue to save and also improve your side hustle.

Honestly, I respect salesman like you that market for relatively unknown company and make the well established, I really respect you guys

Bro I advice that you stick to the job atleast for this pandemic period, it's really not rossy out here, I can't even secure 20k job at the moment... may God strengthen you
