Before I begin,I would like to state that this write-up is not as a result of hate for the Nigeria military.

This may be lengthy, pls mind my writings.

Today been the eight of August 2020,I was walking down the road(excellent grade school road ,off mopol 50,dutse, Abuja),where I saw about 4 soldiers (3 on uniform,1 on mofty) seriously beating a guy who was on the floor.
I drawed closer to know what transpired.

From the information I heard, the guy seized the phone of his girlfriend last night, then after much argument, the girl threatened to call soldiers for the guy, which she did.

I was really shocked that soldiers were beating a guy because of a relationship matter.when has Nigeria soldiers turned to Relationship counsellers.?

A guy who came to withdraw money at a POS shop near the scene, was holding his phone, and the soldiers suspected he was covering them (this is to show that they are even scared).
Thank God for the guy,he wasn't covering them...

After everything, the soldiers asked the guy to apologise to the girl Which he did.

After seeing all this,I was so much pained through out the day.
I do hear people say, that the reason why dey joined cult is because of intimidation from younger people.
I won't be wrong to say that this may be the reason why some people join army.

Also today at Maraba under bridge,I saw soldiers trying to clear the traffic, but what shocked me the most was when I saw a soldier in a military Hilux, wrapping his Marijuana.
This may sound so funny, but I was so shocked on seeing this.

I know we have good soldiers out there but please let them be called to order.

Other countries it is a pride to take a picture with a soldier.

When you see them you "respect" them by yourself and not "fear" them

I was shocked to see South Africans happy when they heard that soldiers will be deployed to enforce COVID-19 lockdown.

I asked a few people the reason for the celebration and I was told since 1994 they have not seen a soldier, some said since they were born they have not seen a soldier.

Our country, you see them at every bus stop.

To avoid wahala

Matt 5:25,26
25“Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

During my school days, ladies often call on us to beat up their boyfriends. Girls are suckers for rugged boys. They need protection don't they?
