South Korea Sets Date For First 6G Launch by JimohMomoh: 6:07am On Aug 09, 2020 |
South Korea has released its plans for the development of the next generation of data networks 6G and has announced that it will launch a pilot project in 2026 that will be 50 times faster than current 5G connections, reaching speeds of 1TB per second. Although 5G technology is still in the deployment phase in many countries of the world, South Korea wants to be a leader in 6G networks, so it hopes to commercialize it between 2028 and 2030, as the Prime Minister of the Asian country, Chung, has assured Se-kyun. Of course, Samsung will be the main company to support this project. According to the roadmap that it has presented, South Korea wants to have a 6G pilot program in 2026. In this way, it would take about seven years from when 5G started in the country until these first tests, so it is in line with what is usually the transition period between these generations. South Koreas strategy is to proactively develop the ‘Next Generation Technologies security standard’, as well as ‘high value-added patents’, and lay the foundation for R& and industry. . To implement this plan, the government will invest 150 billion euros over five years starting in 2021 to secure core high-risk 6G technology. The new data networks 6G promise to be 50 times faster than current 5G, with transmission speeds of up to 1TB per second and a reduction in latency to 0.1 milliseconds, ten times less than that of the 5G. https://www.en24.news/2020/08/south-korea-sets-date-for-first-6g-launch-photos-video-samsung-5g-technology.html Lalasticlala Mynd44

Okuda:A lot. The Internet of things for a start. Compare calls using airtime with the use of data, it says cost and offers better quality. That will be the end of loading airtime for calls as we know it. |
