Consider these: Canavaro won 2006 world cup as an Italian defender with no yellow card nor red card and emerged as the world best player, he played Juve and latter move to Madrid. Dutch Eager Davids is rated among the first 5 defensive mildfider by FIFA, he won Champions league in Ajax and move to Juve. Zidane didn't play for Barca but he won Champions league and world cup and also the world best player. George Weah didn't play Barca, Steve Gerald didn't play for Barca. C Ronaldo didn't play for Barca. Seedorf, Figo, Raul, Madini, Okocha, Inzaghi, Pilo just to mention but a few. Barca is a great team but Barca can't stand Madrid and AC Milan when it comes to champions league glory. Spanish league, Madrid is still ahead of Barca, thank you.

Its no news that Ronaldinho was Jay Jay Okocha’s protégé when the two played at PSG, with Okocha wearing the No. 10 jersey and Ronaldinho No 21.

After a turbulent move to PSG from boyhood club Gremio of Brazil, he couldn't play immediately and had to wait for 6 months due to legal issues concerning the transfer.

It was then the Nigerian and African legend Okocha took young Ronaldinho on his wings and then mentored him, tutored him and showed him some tricks he developed in football.

Ronaldinho quickly adapted to life in Paris and soon became the fans delight.

After that , a big and lucrative offer came from Bolton wonderers and okocha left in 2002.
He then passed the baton to Ronaldinho.

1) Okocha developed and crrated his own tricks, Ronaldinho copied from a handful of players including Rivelino,Laudrup and perfected them on the football stage.

2) Okocha do show his skills and isn't a match winner, Ronaldinho with his skills a d entertainment wins crucial matches for his teams.

3) From both player's origins and continent, Okocha skills are typical of the African lifestyle, while Ronaldinho fused Brazilian samba dance with his skills which made it more colorful.

4) Lastly, when Ronnie was asked how he developed his skills, he didn't mince words as he said “he learnt them from the streets of brazil, Rivelino his Brazilian idol and from watching Okocha during training in PSG”
Ronaldinho= Mix of all skillful players + Okocha.

You people just like to yarn dust. Look at how you described the whole thing as if Okocha was the one who taught Ronaldinho football.


Have you even watched Ronaldinho before he moved to PSG? He was class apart, a born talent.
