Hello guys, I got admitted into a private University in France, I was asked to pay the registration fee of 2000 euro (close to 1 million naira) before I can get an acceptance letter. Is it advisable for me to pay the registration fee ??

I won't advise that. That's way overboard. But if you have such money and have no other admission option, then the ball lies in your court to decide.

This is pretty standard so if the school is where you really want to go, then go ahead and make the payment. get your acceptance letter and start your campus france application ASAP.

all the best.

Those that have gotten visas and plan to travel to Paris from Lagos, what airlines are you looking at and when are you planning to leave?

You seem very well informed about issues pertaining to France immigration. How do I reach you through email?

If you are in Lagos, go to UPS yourself o. I went there yesterday and they couldn't find my passport. I had to go back there by 7am this morning before they found it. Biko 2 days is a long time o before one useless person misplaces it. Go to UPS Gbagada ASAP.

I am planning to apply for a schengen tourist from Nigeria with my wife and 2 children.(2 years and 6months respectively)
My wife is not working but I have budgeted 2million for this trip.
Is it obtainable to travel with them or I should go alone? Please I need expert advise.

Don’t mean to discourage you, but Schengen countries are not currently issuing tourist visas. I’ve personally confirmed this from France, and 2 other countries. If you apply, you will be denied based on “threat to public health” bc of Covid.

Only certain countries can apply like Thailand, Australia, New Zealand etc.

Yh attestation is fine. I think the problem is translating it to french and authenticating it.

It is required for many processes (Social Security, Ameli, Titre de Sejour renewal etc.) and ensure ALL the names on your birth certificate is the same as the ones on your passport, if not, you would have to do a new NPC birth certificate.

You can use Alliance Française to translate and ensure they certify it with their stamp. (On a good day, they also accept the English version)

My advise: don't bank on Attestation. Get a Birth Cert. from NPC
