Well, we don't know if it is %79, it is just what people may think. I saw people who were interviwed with me who di not get the visa. Even if it is %79, it is still not %100

Most of them were denied for such thing as

1) impersonation

2) Lack of sufficient funds

3) Fake Documents.

40 Lack of ties in Nigeria

The embassy actually tells you why your visa is denied. They do.

Those that were denied did their passport come with a paper stating reason for denial? Or was it emailed to them?

Sorry boss
Please do you mean someone going for BSC around the age of 17-20 does not need home tie??
chrisderson:
The interview is the final stage of the visa process. My visa was grantted two days after my interview.

Chances of getting visa depends on submitting enough authentic and satisfactory documents that are not FAKE. Also, you need to have a good reason why you have applied for your course. Your future plan must align with your course of study and you need to highlight this link during the interview,

You need to know the course you applied for. You need to link some of the subjetcs of the course to your future plans after studies.

You need to have documents that shows that you have ties at home like proof of landed properties. marraige status. Proof that your job will be waiting for you when you are done with your studies. Rememeber, a fresh high school graduate who is 17-20 years going for BSc does not need all these things I have mentioned. If you are going for Masters especially after years of finsihing your BSC, they gonna need to be convinced that you have been doing something with your life before application. You see, you need to observe contexts here.

I submitted my application 29th of June and I was interviewed on 5th of August .

In that age bracket, your kind of tie would be different . You only need to proove that you will be abck...I am sure of the MSc one.

Any refusal will surly come with a paper with their passport explaining the reasons why he or she is been refused. With that note you will know the reasons.

Hello guys

Trust we are all keeping well

I have a younger sister that wants to study Nursing in Lithuania university of health sciences. She studied Food science technology and unfortunately getting a stable good job has been hard to come by

She will be 31years old next year and I plan to sponsor her education and every other thing that is required but I have a concern which is " Do you guys think she will be granted a visa considering her age for a Bsc"

I need your advice as I want to make this work for her, and I will appreciate any info or idea to go about this

Thanks everyone

........ I think nothing should be impossible , she needs to convince the embassy or the interviewers beyond reasonable doubt why she needs another bachelor degree that's just it. Nothing seems impossible. Thanks

They open on both Mondays and Wenesdays but i have never been there on a Wenesday. Anything you are going to do i prefer you go on a Monday so if there is anything you need to add or substract in your application you can meet up by Wenesday still within the week.

I didnt legalise my document using that medium.

I did mine at the ministry of Education and Foreign Affairs. And that was for Visa Application. My school didnt require a legalise copy. A copy of transcript was only sent from my school directly via mail

Good evening,

I’m not trying to deviate from the ongoing conversation, and would like to encourage anyone applying to believe and provide all the documents accordingly and you’d be fine. You would only get rejected if you falsify documents or aren’t able to convince them over your interview (in the case of older applicants).

Now, to my question. Has anyone been able to successfully purchase flight tickets to Lithuania ? I can’t seem to get a direct itinerary/ linked flights to Lithuania and I’ve been hearing it might be a problem to travel with two separate tickets. I understand that there are people here who have some experience with these things and some also also making the trip. I’d massively appreciate your thoughts and insight. Thanks in advance.

Try Turkish airline, they have direct flight from Lagos to Vilnius, that's if your desired traveling date is not fully booked... Turkish airline is not among the banned airlines by Nigeria govt
