Even in the dark arts you can’t match the white nan..words like witchcraft, occultism, shamanic, astral projections, divination, necromancy, voodoo, demonic invocation are all English words...they’ve been into this shyt way before your forefathers.

Unicorn, tooth fairy, Santa Claus...also in the English dictionary.

Fake. It cant withstand grenade, high caliber weapons and bombs. If they were real white man would not have conquered africa with guns and cannons. Benin empire with all their juju could not stop the punitive expedition. Make una dey deceive una self

Gunpowder is not a product of science.

Gunpowder is a product of alchemy, the white man's version of black magic.

Compass, which you use for bearings and directions, is a product of dark magic and not science.

There are other inventions birthed by ancient practices before the organization of science

Therefore your claim that the whiteman conquered Africa with science is false because the whiteman invaded Africa with a much stronger juju.

Juju is the father of science.

It's best you explain what you mean by alchemy, that gunpowder and compasses are a product of it, as you claim.

Alchemy is the ancient general name for estoricism, spiritology, hermeticism, black magic, divination, traditional medicine, astrology, numerology etc.

And they have evolved beyond it, through scientific research and experimental adventures, to become masters of the mentally lazy Africans who are stuck in that primitive mode.

So when the Chinese accidentally discovered how to make gunpowder and magnetic compass, both of which are scientifically explainable after the fact of discovery, you are saying that they were able to make that discovery through "black magic"? Their purposes for using these things may have been for what you call alchemy, but can you really say that use of the governing principles of gunpowder and compass is "black magic" ?

Imagine someone striking an iron on a flint to hear if it made a musical sound...then discovered that it made a spark instead...would you be comfortable using the same structure of argument, to say that music was the cause of fire?

As for alcohol...is it alchemists who have been making palm wine, all this time?

I like the direction you are taking your argument; I am pushing back so that you can make it stronger.

I tire, o. That's "burning of accused witches". Tested with false instruments that would find the accused "guilty", same as you and I would be found "guilty". Please research the topic before referring to it. Fear-mongering and power-grabbing at the root of it all. Nothing new to see, there.

I think you should go and read it. It's " burning of witches in Europe." It even happened in America too.

Yes, they were accused (name one criminal that is not accused before getting convicted), but there were true witches. And if you don't know, there are still modern witches even in Canada. But they claim to cause no harm.

I'm not going to debate this, so don't expect a reply again.

If it ain't real people are not gonna get involved in demonism, spirits worship and the dark arts and never you believe it's an African thing. It's a worldwide thing. I remember watching a BBC documentary about a guy that won a competition in Russia involving witchcraft and the dark arts. A visit to his room revealed some things which are not different from what you will find in the house of a witchdoctor in Nigeria here. Things like magic mirror or what we call a monitoring mirror down here. Even Some of these American politicians and superstars are involved in it. You may Google "spirit cooking", Ouija boards and tarot cards and see for yourself.
This world is way deeper than what we see with our physical eyes and believe me when I tell you that I have seen things that the mouth cannot speak.

I like the way you put it.
Do you think there is a relationship between the dominance of juju/magic and education/documented observations/research?

www.nairaland.com/attachments/4108585_img20151221wa020_jpegffa407ba2efc86a3ddb75a6084d3c6aa
Well juju and magic always only exist in people's anecdotes, and personal experience, but never withstands scrutiny or have provable evidence for it.

There have been people willing to offer cash prizes to anyone that can prove without a doubt the existence of the occult, but to this day no one has successfully claimed it.

So my understanding is they are a result of things like the placebo, nocebo and hypnosis effects which are documented phenomenon in medicine and psychology.
And statistical survivor bias in the case of something like bullet charms.

I mean what's the point in believing in occult juju and magic when you have real magic in your hands (the phone and modern science), which can do things our ancestors could never imagine and actually gives repeatable results and you don't need to do any sacrifices or rituals for it to work?

Nope.

BH boys dont want to die, they want to achieve an Islamic caliphate for Allah and if they all die, it womt be achieved.

Virgins is meant for the ones who died in the process.

Ur uncle shot him off range or with blanks.......Shotgun accuracy range @ maximum is 145 feet, The medicine man could easily keep him 200 feet away and shot at him several times.

He could have used blank bullets to shoot him at very close range.

Be wise, I know spirituality well & I've practiced it for 4 years and 10 months now, I know what exists in spirituality and what does not exist....ODESHI doesn't exist.

MrColdsweat:
Empiricism as the only path to the truth has been shattered long ago. Infact, it has been tagged a belief.

You BELIEVE that human experience is the only yardstick for the truth.

When you claim that grapes are sour, and you give grapes to your fellow humans to verify that grapes are sour and they all taste it and they all claim that truly, grapes are sour, it becomes knowledge to humans that grapes are sour.

But are grapes sour because they are truly sour or because they are sour to our taste bud?

Are grapes sour to goats, sheeps and other animals?

This is the problem with empiricism. We look at life from our subjective perspective and make truth claims whereas life is complex.

When you say something must have proof before it can be accepted as true, then you're as dogmatic as the Christians or Muslims you mock.

It can work for you for 5 years and just one day it will fail a bullet will pierce you and you are gone.Almost every armed robber believes in it but after “successes “ it fails one day and they are killed.Thats why if you watch crime fighter videos anytime police kill an armed robber they display their charms to the public to show them its powerless. From armed robbers that believed in Odeshi like derico, chiejina, ngwuekeluomu, anini etc they are all dead. The popular policeman Jude sars in Enugu had his own fail him.During the cult war in Enugu of the 90s and 2000s I had seen people shot multiple times at close range, the bullets pierced their clothings but couldn’t penetrate their bodies.I would conclude that that thing Is unreliable and can fail when you least expect it.Its best to believe in Jesus which is a more enduring and reliable power

Seems like you grew up in Enugu. Do you remember the popular police man, Ignatius Eko popularly called IG? He was a terror to armed robbers around 2004/2005

Who's talking to you about what the whiteman did and what he didn't do?

We're analyzing your assessment tool for the truth and I'm showing you the defiencies and you're still arguing.

You've been to the court, you see people commit murder and they give proof in court that thy didn't commit it and the judge believe and acquit them. Does that mean that they didn't actually commit the murder?

Proofs are malleable. They are constructible. Therefore they are not enough.

Proofs are not enough. There are millions of organisms and life beings in the universe undiscovered by man. Because man hasn't seen them, does it mean they don't exist?

Your demand for proof is nonsense.

I call these things advantage becos it made them think.. necessity, they say is the mother of invention... the white man brain wasn’t created better than ours but the need to think or die made the white man brain evolve better than ours...:

We have always been takers in Africa...the parasite of the earth... we existed in the better part of the world, no winter, amazing weather, no food shortage, the river for catching fish never freezes anytime of the years, nature blessed us... but it ended as curse becos we became the lazy specie of the planet......
