My thoughts.
Hurried justice just to rid this menence to society.
This is a fella who ordered killings of chiefs and their families right in from of wives and will insist monies must be paid before those he killed will be buried.
The whole of Sankara was at the mercy of Gana. No one dear to say a word in Sankara, any chief who speaks was slaughtered like a chicken. Four years running and more, the people of Sankara were dreaded by this animal in human skin.
I know many Sankara sons and daughters who have not visited home for more than four years for fear of Gana and his brood of vipers.
Can anyone mention anytime Gana fought against Fulanis? If he was protecting the Tivs from Fulani headers, why the many attacks in Sankara and Terkurla Suswam will organise a football match with the Fulanis and Sankara people to make peace. Gana has never fought Fulanis, all he was doing was russle their cattle as we were told by the Governor in a radio interview which in effect leads to herders attacks on Tiv communities.
This was a guy after the amnesty, he was given produce at BIRS and given a Hilux attached with security as a form of reforms for him to go straight. He abandoned all these favors, accused of killing Denen and many more and moved back into crime. Randsome was place on his head for N10,000,000 by the state and he was also declared wanted by the army. Remember that when someone is declared wanted, it is dead or alive.
Now someone will tell me he was securing the Tiv people. How?
Suddenly, we seems to have forgotten all the families he destroyed in his own community.
He will order killings and insist that money must be paid before you bury your relation that he killed and people were paying with frustration and death threats. My neighbor is an example.
Some say he is "wan u tyo". How can wan u tyo kill his own innocent people including chiefs and their families and anyone who dares to say a word and at the same suppretending over kidnappings all over the place.
Some are attaching his killing to Boko Haram and that he should have been treated like Boko Haram repentants. Boko Haram fundamentalist were fighting for an Islamic state to a point they annexed fourteen local Governments and hoisted their flags.
What was Gana fighting and killing his own chiefs, wives, children and people in general for? If I may ask.
May his followers see this killing as a sign to get reformed and live straight because he who lives by the sword always die by the sword.

trash. who did he surrender to? This guy is wanted by all the security agencies. why did the Governor not inform all the security agencies of the movement of a high valued person? my guess is that the governor wanted to use this guy as an hatchet man but he failed woefully[b]

We know lies when we see one... you’re either a frustrated Fulani or a happy trigger solider
You are not Tiv and you don’t have any proof that he killed your neighbor... May God have mercy on your soul.
If he is everything you said why will the soldiers attack and kill an unarmed man in a jungle justice manner?
The bounty on his head was for 10million dead or alive... the man has surrendered why kill him when you have nothing to hide ...
please shut your dirty useless gutter you call mouth ode undecided

I don't know who that nigga is and don't know if he's truely defending his people or not.

But since he's not a fulani man... Then expect ipob both the ones that know him and the ones that are just knowing him to defend him.

They were told that he was killing Fulanis so he's automatically a Hero irrespective of the hundreds of Benue people he must have killed.

The government betrayed him which is not supposed to.

But I will never ever defend or Condemn the killing of anyone who go about killing innocent people.

Many folks eulogizing this man don't even know the extent of criminality he perpetuated while alive. This nigga buries people alive he is so heartless that he can set a whole family ablaze,I am shocked beyond words that people are rooting for this guy.
Even after the BIRS contract to assaude him he still went beserk killing for no just cause, what manner of a freedom fighter will go to a market and kill defenseless people.
If benue govt wants to be sincere they will tell you gana is the fulani crisis instigator and not a Robinhood,he rustles their cattle and the vengeneful lots attack villages with all ferocity and in all of this he never put up a fight for those villages.
He is a state government sponsored militia leader gone wrong and the reason for this amnesty charade was to bring him back to lead a militia gang against the federal government for not supporting the benue livestock guard and the recent water resource bill.
Why will a state governor not intimate the army regarding amnesty program?something is fishy, gana is a baggage ortom inherited from suswam and he is like a tse tse fly perching on the scrotum.
The army did a good job by eliminating the criminal enough of this political correctness and twisting of naked facts.
nawa oo gana is now a hero to to people he has killed more than anyone else.
As ndigbo will say "Ife ojo gba afo o buru omenani" the fly narrative of gana being a Robinhood goes to show the extent we as a people have been depraved and all shame lost.
It is an insult to the families of his victims and a mockery to the dead. Rip dacor that was killed by ganas rampaging gang and many others who lost their lives to the monster at last this is justice

The way we berate amnesty for Boko Haram members should be the same way we berate amnesty for gana.

Death should be the prize for any terrorist, not rubbing their heads.

So you are saying Gana did not kill people and held their corpses until the families of the victims paid ransom?
Are you saying Gana did not kill men in the presence of their families, or he did not forcefully collect people's properties?
Are you not aware that Gana killed his own daughter?
Or that he was killing fulanis and stealing their cows thereby causing more problems for tiv people?
See boy, Amnesty is not granted twice. Gana can not repent as he is. He only came out of hiding. It was either the governor set him up, or Ortom wanted to use him for thuggery. Kudos to the military for eliminating him.

Tiv people are very rational and intelligent but your kind among them are the reason why the tiv nation is backward. Your kind of people are the reason why most people outside the state have negative things to say about tiv people.

Actually any terrorist who repents should be given amnesty.
But Gana was given amnesty back in 2015, he was given contract by the government and all kind of VIP entitlement. He still went about killing people. He went back into hiding when he allegedly killed an aid to the governor.
Now they have gone to negotiate with him to come out and surrender again. The military were not part of this amnesty.
I have never seen where someone is granted amnesty twice.

Maybe for ritual, I don't know.
But that was what one of his wife said when she was arraigned in court for hiding her husband. His 33rd wife precisely

Gana has made children fatherless.
Gana has made children motherless.
Gana has made fathers mourn their sons.
Gana has made mothers mourn their daughters.
Gana has made villages mourn their sons and daughters.
Gana has made villages mourn their kings and leaders.
Gana has made people lift weapons against each others.
Gana has shown no mercy.
Gana has killed by the sword.
I won't mourn for him dying by the sword.
He that killed by the sword is fit to die by the sword.
God has not permitted Gana to dance on the graves of those he callously murdered.
To God be the glory.

The news carried that he surrendered his arms but was killed shortly after... How about arresting him if his crimes were unpardonable and making him face the music the ,civilised way..
