But the Nigeria Embassy can send a message to all Nigeria in UAE informing us of the development

Not only visit visa to work visa, even work visa cannot be converted to another work visa

Leave Nigerian government out of it. There's no message that is necessary that the Nigerian Embassy has not issued but we failed to understand DIPLOMACY in the process of such information. They are only being careful. Nigerian government cannot solve the whole problem created by Nigerians in UAE.

Patience is the most important key now. Work/Resident Permit will soon open with strict measures.

Wait for it.

The problem with Nigerians is get money quick syndrome. An average Nigerian can do anything for money hence getting into some shit.we are not the only country with bad government in the world or Africa, give some of them a job of 1200aed they will not take it because he wanna show off big boy when he get to Nigeria, same applicable to the girl. We do anything for money, now know country want to associate with Nigeria. However, we can see for our selves the effect it's given us all over the world.....very shameful.

I just want UAE government to Kno that there are hard working Nigerians who are doing there jobs and working hard to make ends meet. In developed countries there are Nigerians maving waves doing better in their chosen career or profession so to say and we have the bad eggs too, but in these developed countries they don't say because some useless Nigerian are causing havoc and use it against other Nigerians and stop issuing visas or benefits to other sane working Nigerians. I want UAE government to reason along these lines of though. Any errring Nigerians who are into Yahoo Yahoo, prostitution, drugs, etc should be fished out , disciplined and probably deported those bad ones instead of we the hard working ones suffering same fate with those bastard because e no follow at all. Let the bad ones be fished out and thoroughly dealth with because inocent and hard working Nigerians can't be suffering same fate with bad ones.

Till Jesus comes eh bad ones will always dey make we tell ourselves the truth, is left to the government of UAE to look for bad ones in the course of investigation and make them face the law instead of innocent hard working Nigerians facing these problem. Thanks for understanding

Brother, the Nigerian government should not be left out of it. Like most of us have said, the individuals have their fault and their big part to play. But every Nigerian is a property of Nigeria. If you use a Nigerian passport, you remain a property of Nigeria. Nigeria is the only place you can be deported to for instance. No matter how bad a child is, the parent are still the parents. No matter how mad a human being is, the relative are still the relative. When 2000 people pay for evacuation and reach Nigeria, you will see government taking pictures and posting that they are working. They will talk about effort of state government, federal government, nidcom, minister, special adviser etc. But there is real problem, we have about two consulate office in UAE and they throway face.

There are nuisance from every country here. Pakistani, Indians, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, even British was in the papers yesterday for duping someone in millions of dirhams. Each individual should be punished for their crime. Discrimination is what is happening now. Maybe because it has not reached us because we have ID, but it is coming.

Why would all other nationalities have access to 90 days visas at low prices? All these people can change their visas to residence and employment visas. It is not our right, fine. But it is not illegal, it is what every other nationality is doing. So it is governments work to diplomatically discuss it on behalf of the citizens. Other nations treat us bad because they know and say it that our government does not care. And you are still saying it's not government business. Kill a criminal American or British and see if it is not their government business.

This is exactly what we are saying oh. About two weeks now, no visa yet the person got job. He's on ground not online, he did interview, he's qualified, he has finalised salary and co negotiations, he's paying rent. But what others are given in 24hrs he is yet to get even with begging for two weeks. And you think our government should not diplomatically resolve this?
Already Nigerians pay almost double for visas compared to others. That's a disadvantage already. Your flight money is more than two times your colleagues. Your visa is almost double. And you believe that the solution is to increase the cost? A Nigerian already pays what some people will use to stay for 9months in just first time coming with three months. I don't think increasing it is the logical solution. Maybe interviews and maybe bank statements, but increasing the money is not. Well all na still ordinary opinion oh. You people that have power should help us. grin

Bro, this matter tie raper. There’s no official statement anywhere, confirming that Nigeria passport holders are restricted from getting fresh UAE work permit.
So, If someone goes out there to complain, the person may be seen as spreading misleading information. I’m sure you know the consequence, especially as residents.
As for our image, well it does pop up once in a while grin grin. No matter how I take package myself tongue.
I sometimes take my time to educate whoever cares to listen sha, when I de good mood. There are bad eggs among every nationality.

As per renewal of work permit, your company can renew your work permit but fresh application for work permit will not be approved

Hello brothers on this forum, I need information as a matter of urgency, as regards my younger brother I explained his situation earlier who was changing company who got a better offer and the new Visa application into the new company that was stalled.

Thou e was on a company residence visa and completed is contract before e got new one, the question now is, those people on company residence visa , I was told they have grace till November while visiting visa needs to this September.

The question now is that, when e checked the file status is was said violated today, never on visit Visa, is the grace period for resident visa not extended to November anymore? I need answer thanks

He has already violated the overstay period but has the grace to exit the country by November 17th, 2020 without paying fine. But if he chooses to remain in UAE by rectifying his visa status he would pay the accumulated fine first before his file will be approved for further processes.

Its a pity. That news from UAE embassy was very wrong. Why deceiving us? The guy was on another job before but he resigned 4 months ago when he got his dream offer cos his notice period was 3 months and the new company was willing to wait. After completing his notice period, his former company was not even cancelling his visa claiming no new work visa for Nigeria
We all thought they were lying trying to tie him down. He went to immigration offices for enquiries and we were told we can there is no issue. Now he is stuck mainly cos of wrong information. And the company after waiting for several months is withdrawing the offer.
Once you are still with Nigeria passport, you are not immune from shit nomatter where you run to.
Update -> We got a police report from Al Qusais and begged the company to reapply which they did but it was rejected again. They shared the screenshot with message.
Issuance of employment visas for Nigerians passport has been suspended until further Notice
Next is to go to Abu Dhabi immigration to plead. Thats the final attempt.
