Little by little the purpose of this thread is defeated by the creation of these groups on chat platforms.

Indeed man is selfish.

What would the ones after us refer to if all the information about this process is on a WhatsApp group of which the members would most likely disband once this is over. Lost.

The way we do things can be funny atimes.

You needed an information, you remembered this forum because you know you could get that info here because it sticks. Then, instead of leaving your footsteps behind to guide others, you turnaround and sweep as you walk away.

Brilliant.

Join the telegram group bro. People are joining cos its an app you can click right away and you are in there with everyone else contributing and learning.

No vex. Na so life deh be sometimes.

You miss the point here or perhaps you don't bother about the coming ones.

And if that's what you meant by 'na so life deh be ...', then that's selfishness. God help you.

The purpose of this thread is not defeated. What we have shared here may be enough for the upcoming generation. It was just when I joined them at the whatsapp group that I got to discovered that many of the things shared and even the discussion held there cannot be done here on Nairaland

You do know that Nairaland is an anonymous forum right? undecided .

Can't think of what information that will be too sensitive to be shared here, anonymously.

Salary?
Questions?
A staff connect?
Interview process?

Obviously you underestimate the power of anonymity. If you've been to the travel (visa seeking) section then you'll appreciate Nairaland better.

"Maybe enough..." Same thought our 'youthful' politicians have in mind when misappropriating public funds. cry

Deliverance again? What is bringing the deliverance here??

What many of you failed to realise is that you can not possibly have all the information you need in life before you make a decision or move.

That is not the point brother and it is not on any way related to what you're thinking.

It was purely questions and answer and brainstorming that took place in the WhatsApp group I belong. It is not the issue of sensitive information that was shared. I know the power of Nairaland and how it has been of great help toe personally.

If you still don't get my point, then I don't know what else to say. But know that you're over thinking and over reacting to this issue.

Really, it doesn't make sense.
This forum has come through for me many times as the experiences of others stick on this site and serve as basis for direction.

The WhatsApp group being created will house information that future generations would not have access to.

So sad. So selfish

You are funny. So 200+ people should be here dropping images and texts so Nairaland's anti-spam bot will ban people like I got banned on both accounts cos of link and images I dropped and had to create a new one just so I can get info across. Always ask for reasons people do stuffs before you conclude. I'm group Admin on telegram so hit me up and ask questions. And speak for your generation, future generations may not even need Nairaland to get info

I totally agree with what has been said so far. I got a job based off of information I got from a thread dated as far back as 2012 here. Since then I have been a Nairaland evangelist.

I referred a younger cousin here when she told me she was applying to EY and I was absolutely disappointed when she came back with feedback of the thread being derailed.

Now there is a WhatsApp AND a telegram group which already causes a division and totally negates the point of having this thread; Having all relevant information in one place.

If you badly want to create a telegram group for whatever reasons, that’s fine. But coming on here to redirect people to somewhere else is not just being selfish and unappreciative of a platform you obviously sought out, but also wicked because you are undermining someone else’s business.

If you ever intend to open and grow a business some day, you should start learning some lessons already.

The funny thing is when next you need an information, you'd still come on here.

Not everyone sees the bigger picture.

This has nothing to do with being wicked or selfish. Nobody's father own the company.

This thread was created to share relevant information and help one another where necessary until people started creating WhatsApp and Telegram groups.

I don't know who created those groups, it was only wise to come back and inform those that are not connected to other platforms to do so in order not to be left out of the process.

To be safe, ensure you are connected to any platform where relevant info is shared. Peace.

Please as everyone is leaving to join groups I would like to ask if anyone knows how to solve those dragnet abstract questions or the logic behind them because they never really match what is in the past questions.
So please if anyone can answer ohh before this place becomes dry I will be very grateful.

Thank you!
