Greetings to you all, going straight to the point I just want to make some enquiries as I will be entering the market to purchase a phone soon. It's been long I bought a phone and infact the last phone I bought was Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime in 2017. I am a core Samsung Galaxy fan and I haven't used any other product which isn't a Samsung phone.

With the hike in prices of mobile phone including Samsung products since 2017, I just may be on my way to getting a Tecno device or Infinix. Someone advised me to purchase a refurbished iPhone on jumia, that a refurbished iPhone 6S Plus for example on Jumia will be better than a brand new Tecno Pouvoiur 4 Pro or Infinix Note 7 as all boast of similar price range.

I am considering the following products, NB All fall into the same price range.
Samsung Galaxy A21s
Brand new Tecno Pouvoiur 4 Pro
Brand new Infinix 7
Refurbished iPhone 6S Plus
Refurbished iPhone 7

Mobile Tech experts please help me out. If you have purchased refurbished iPhone from Jumia previously please what was the experience like.

It's simple.
You give a middleman your money to hold when you're buying something. Once you confirm you've received the package with no issues whatsoever, the middleman (escrow) will release the money to the seller.

Use wese.90 as escrow, the guy is well known in technology market.

An escrow is the middle man in a transaction between the buyer and the seller. The job of an escrow is to prevent scamming or cheating.
Use wese90 as an escrow incase you decide to buy from the OfferUp thread.

Though most don't know they're not really refurbished until they read the reviews.
Most are repackaged items cos the buyers abused the return policy so they can claim they've used it, don't like the product or prolly due to a legit fault.

I'll advise you buy a new TECNO phone you can maintain to avoid stories that touch. But then it's your choice Sha, but that's definitely what I'll do cos when it comes to electronics and devices, I prefer to buy them brand new

I beg you, please avoid Infinix and Tecno...

Buy Iphone or Xiaomi

If you buy Tecno it will end in tears

If you buy Infinix it will end in multiple tears

It's either the 6s plus or samsung a21s
The a21s is better though but the iphone 6s plus is good as well

I've used four UK used iPhones, which from their model number I discovered they were
refurbished but never for one day did I experience any problems with any of them.
Simply put, You can accurately know if an
iphone is brand new, refurbished, Replaced or a personalized device by checking the Model number/Letter.
If the Model number/Letter starts with letter M, it is/was a brand new iphone device that was purchased at authorized apple stores and has not been worked on, If you see N then it means it is a refurbished, F also means refurbished and P(very rare)is a personalized device. Personalized devices are iPhones that have some extra security on them, they usually ship on demand but Apple generously includes some P devices on their pool of consumer retail phones.

If you're afraid of refurbished iPhones better go and buy brand new one that is still boxed or else you might end of getting a refurbished iPhone if you purchased a UK used one.
