Misplaced priorities.. one airport is enough to serve all the 5 SE states not up to Oyo state in size. There are better things to do with money.
You surely need help.

When Ebonyi state voted in this man, they didn't know they had signed Messi. He has won the political "ballon d'or" back to back since 2015. Citizens of states that their governor's achievements is either to appear during children's day celebration, control traffic, sign MOU, share kerosene, share ludo, give yearly budgets botanical/scientific names, mould statue, stuff dollars, collect loans, sponsor pilgrimages etc should know that when they voted, they signed Yakubu Ayegbeni.

With all due respect, Yaks is a far better achiever than the above mentioned players.

Ehen...they have come to reap where they did not sow. APC is only known for Havoc and backwardness. It has no place in Alaigbo.

I knew I would see a pot-belly Lebanese man as a contractor before opening this thread- these guys are cashing out on Nigeria big time. But must all these politicians build an airport? what is the economic benefit to the state? I see all these as white elephant projects. How many planes will be landing in Abakiliki?

Following his arrival from Abuja, the nation’s capital on Sunday, His Excellency, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, visited the construction site of the Ebonyi State International Airport as the gigantic project is fast becoming a reality.

IGBERE TV reports that during the inspection of the project, Governor Umahi looked at the drawing of the prototype of the Ebonyi International Airport, consisting of the terminal, runway, hangers, control tower, Taxiway, Parking space, etc and said "This is my soon to become AIRPORT", then everyone busted out in excitement in affirmation of the pronouncement of the Ebonyi International Airport by the Governor as the record has it that all his promises in project delivery and development of the state have all been fulfilled.

This occurred at exactly 3:00 pm on Sunday as the Governor in company with a team of experts from Abuja arrived the site of the ongoing construction of the Airport in Ezza South, Ebonyi.

IGBERE TV correspondent reports that Ebonyians are happy as the International Airport which some people thought is impossible when it started is fast becoming a reality.

This Abakaliki governor and misplaced priorities. Ebonyi people are not empowered enough to need airport. Enugu airport is nearby. It looks like the airport will be used by herdsmen to freight cows into the state while Ebonyi people hawk gala around the vicinity.
