Hello devs,

So I'm trying to make a simple todo app with react js and I keep encountering this bug. I've tried everything to make it go away but it wont bulge


somebody help me before I lose my mind

I searched Google for you and I got this from react website.

I guess it's a common bug in development mode.

It's not a react issue, but a browser security measure and its because the backend server and nodejs server are not the same. Cross-Origin
Can't explain it now but you can read up on cors - you may encounter it again further down your career line.
For now, google => how to disable chrome browser security or cors policy , once you do that, it'll work.

Just curious what are you doing in a todo app that is giving you a cors error? Consuming an Api?
Anyway check out heroku cors anywhere https://cors-anywhere.herokuapp.com/ and please don't use an extension in disabiling cors error because when the app is in production it will still return cors.

He should explain his problem clearly.

Thanks guys, I figured it our. Has to do with the scrimba ide I was using. Have moved my project to vscode and everything works well now.
