This Clippers collapse is so funny sha grin
1. Kawhi rejects the lakers, stalling their free agency to sabotage them
2. Show an ad saying he's the new king of LA
3. PG rejects the lakers+lebron after a feminine documentary to stay back in OKC only to abandon Westbrook to join the clippers
4. Ty lue rejects once in a lifetime opportunity to be the lakers coach to take an assistant role with the clippers
5. Marcus Morris choose the clippers
6. Reggie Jackson choose the clippers
7. Magic abandoned ship and bad mouthed Lakers management
8. The media especially WOJ labeled the lakers dysfunctional and that Vogel was an inferior coach.

All this for the darling Clippers to collapse cheesy

Especially that Kawhi's free agency sabotage... Too early in the day for Lakers to gloat though. If I were them I would focus on the Nuggets or whoever is before me, one game at a time.

Stephen A actually called him out and said his job is in jeopardy. Doc can't dodge the blame in this one.
Same Stephen A is now backing him to stay. While I don't suggest he uses his platform to advocate for another black man to lose his job.

He will need to be called out on his hypocrisy the day he ever advocates for a white underperforming coach to lose his job. Because he did it with Brett Brown

You don't trust LeBron James?

You think he's the type to be distracted by all that?

I am black and I was the first to say Doc has to be fired on this thread! This is coming from someone who has the highest regard for Doc like you know on this thread. Me and you have gone back and forth about Doc and this is me saying it's time for Doc to be leave the Clippers. He has to go!!!!!

Throughout this post season we have struggled with the zone defense. Today, we had no answer for the Bam pick and roll and got punished severely.
We have been poor in the 2nd half, especially the 3rd and can’t finish the 4th. You can’t win competitive games with 19 turnovers. This is a bad loss and of these things don’t change we may as well pack our bags and head home.

Yep. That's the problem with pointing fingers all the time. Eventually you find you either stay consistent or become a hypocrite.

Marcus Smart getting into it with teamates. This is not the time to fold mentally
Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 7:57am On Sep 18, 2020
Dragic has been low key heat's mvp in the bubble.
He's has been dropping steady 20+ points, clutch shots, and he's significantly outplaying kemba

I'm suprised nobody seems to be talking about Dragic. So much noise is being made about Butler but they have so many hitmen. Tyler Herro is another savage never mind Bam

On the contrary, I think this is much needed. Smart saved our season against Raptors when he rallied the team in the 4th Q of game 7 during a timeout. You have to understand that this is a young team with players who have the potential of getting distracted.

Brad Stevens is yet to figure out how to counter the Zone when teams employ it. N. Nurse employed it throughout the Raptors series, Spoelstra definitely watched that series and is employing it to a better effect, if not that B. Brown is a scrub, he would have employed that tactics and maybe get some W against us.

We are a bad 2nd half team and it is a combination of indifference, lack of discipline and tactical coaching. I love Brad but he needs to force the discipline of moving the ball and players making cuts to beat the zone on the players. We approach the Heat half and one player dribbles the ball for 15 seconds before realizing he needs to move the ball around in order to beat the zone!

It was a bad loss, a frustrating one at that and I am with M. Smart on this one.

He has been their most important player. He hit some important shots and that is what experience offers.

You guys have one big problem right now, : Kemba! he's a defensive liability but you can live with that if he plays to his offensive potential. But now his offense also stinks (injury?) I suspect he's not 100% fit, there were rumours of that going into the bubble.

In addition, Tatum is yet to be confident with regards to closing out games, he's not a choker (aka George fraud Paul) but he's not yet a closer.

Kemba needs to be that man.

Baba, don’t get me wrong, you are right about Kemba but the problem is more than just one player. In the 3rd, Bam scored 8 consecutive points using a simple pick and roll and we could not stop it.
We could not break the zone defense to save our lives. The ball stagnated once we crossed our half and you can’t beat the zone without moving the ball. The Celtics need to attack the zone once we cross the half court, even before it is set.

It's amazing how Kobe had only one MVP award and yet Giannis has 2. Something's not right about that stat.

But having said that, Giannis was a pandemic away from losing the award, because LeBron was on a roll when the league shut down.

If it is about him staying with the Bucks, I will say wait until after he returns from vacation. A lot of things happen when players go on vacation. Irrespective of the assurances he may have given the Bucks, I know the Bucks would even prefer he does not go on vacation because they know what happens when players go on vacations.

I was actually talking about the MVP award thing not his free agency decision. Of course I'm loving the Giannis/Warriors memes but he's free to do whatever he wants. He could join the Lakers, Raptors, Celtics, Miami and I wouldn't mind. Fans will shout and all that but it's legal. If players can be traded at any time without a say, they are totally free to make moves that benefits them. My own is, no NBA player should open mouth to say shiiít about another man's business. Work on your game. Simple. grin

Congratulations to one of my favorite announcers Joe Buck as he recieves the Pete Rozelle Pro-Football Hall of Fame award. Joe is a jack of most American sports trade, he announces NFL Football and post-season MLB. He joins his dad in the Pro-Football Hall of Fame!

I dont like this award for Giannis. Just like I hate the hype Harden gets. These guys have a loooong way to go to becoming legit superstars. All these accolades are entering these guys heads and they are not putting in the work in the summers. How is a 50 year old Lebron outworking you during the pandemic break?

As we speak theres one wicked black @ss spider in new jersey right now, feeling like he should get to the finals next year, minimum. If Giannis stays with bucks, he could be a permanent regular season performer. Can any older nba player reach this guy and talk to him nitori olorun. This life is not stronghead ooo

These guys should piss in one place make e foam. After shouting about why black coaches don't get a look in you're advocating for them to stay but in the same breath suggesting Brett Brown who was missing Ben Simmons should be fired. Meanwhile Doc Rivers, Ty Lue and Cassell failed spectacularly with a team that is supposed to be the prohibitive favorite.

It's these double standards that make people not take black people serious
