Venom not poison and it has to be injected into the bloodstream to affect you not ingesting it through the mouth into the stomach.

Lol that's not true cuz u can still be affected if you happen to eat the head esp where it contains the venom gland

Seriously, is hunger that bad in Nigeria for people eating snakes, dogs and cats and other animals that are foreign to our eating habits.

Lololol...snakes foreign to our eating habits....All of us came from grandparents and ancestors who are farmers and hunters...and they bring different games home..snakes, monkeys, bush rats and cats etc.
That was/is the major source of meat in the villages before all of us turn to town people and millions of Nigerians still live in villages and still practice these professions.

In rural America people eat snakes and alligators, and some restaurants offer it as exotic dish.

If the venom of they "unharmful python" enter your blood system, if you survive above 25 minutes, then God specially came down to save you.
True

This wicked serpent killed my GIANT dog within 20 mins. I can never forget that day as I watched my dog die slowly.

Very sluggish thing but highly venomous.

The snake is very docile and lazy.
They will never strike unless you come within centimeters of them.
They are however very venomous.

During the day, you can come near/around them or even step on them. They won’t bite. They hardly bite during sunlight but can become aggressive easily during the night/dark.

I’ve once captured the snake some years ago while in the bush. I’m actually doing my IT & I was using that specific area of land for a research. Before I got to know that a snake was beside me, I was beside it for more than 45mins. The snake was under a big leaf with it head wrapped in around its body. The snake can hide dang!!

An old man/farmer was farming not too far from me. Told me some uses of the snake(Herbal ways...)... I’m tired of typing lol

You can under rate a king Cobra but don't put the Mamba and "just" in the same sentence grin
The Mamba is aggressive but he certainly doesn't bluff.
The Mamba's venom kills in minutes bro,and they strike so many times they ensure that time is reduced even further grin

I know bro but the mamba is too aggressive that it do chase a human without provocation unlike most snake that avoid confrontation once they are not threatened.

it is the pitbull of the snake kingdom.

These kind of animals aren't meant to be eaten, or hunted.

They are very poisonous and should not be found near human residence. Unfortunately, we dont have Snake conservation schemes, so the best bet is to catch and kill.
