THE LUCKY CHARM

What makes life interesting is that, there is a lot of obstacles, and there is a lot of overcoming, the interesting part is not how many times you've fallen, but how many times you rise up when you fall, how many times you bounce back to your feet and say no to defeat until you achieve the feat.
The only lucky charm I know of is planning and preparation towards achieving ones goals. The lucky charm is, when your preparation meets with opportunity, know this, ability is nothing without opportunity to utilize it, so therefore plan, prepare and stay focus.
David was not lucky when he pursed, overtake and recover all because he was prepared. (1samuel 30 : 8 - 19). The letter B in breakthrough, means Battle ready, you must be ready to take the bull by the horn, you must be ready to implement and achieve your vision, no matter how great the challenges you've encountered.
One thing I want you to know is that, the bend on the highway to success is not the end of the road, but many failed to make the turn.
Your lucky charm to unlock the box of success is preparation.
Prepare for the failure, prepare for the critics, prepare for the insult, prepare for the obstacle, prepare for the unforseen, prepare to take the bull by the horn, prepare for defeat and finally prepare to leave your comfort zone, success will be yours.

HOW TO STAY FOCUS


Imagine you get to an examination hall and the examiner give you the picture below as your question paper for you to answer. Am very sure there will be different answer, people will be trying to discuss how the black dot is and the shape of the black dot. So is life, all the blank space is your life, the black dot is the challenges you are facing, many people spend their entire life complaining and explaining why they can't make it, they focus on the black dot, and leave their dream to rot away, success will no be interesting if there is no struggle story and also winning will not be celebrated if there is no defeat.
Don't leave your dream to fade away because of your present situation, remember that, every problems has an expire date, challenges are part of the journey of life, don't get distracted and loose your focus on the prize of your dream. There is no prize of being full of excuses, you get to excuse that excuses.
Never loose focus to noisy negatives and bad compliment, never loose focus to critics, they are to sharpen your will power to forge ahead because the sweetest revenge is massive success.
Keep your dream alive and stay focus until your dream becomes reality, don't be sway by the difficulties of the world, but let it make you soar higher.

IF YOU CAN ENDURE IT, YOU WILL ENJOY IT

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, but if you can't endeavor to journey through the tunnel, then don't expect to see the light.
After the darkness comes the light of a new dawn. Do not give up, you're closer to achieve your dream than you think, remember, tough times don't last, but tough people do, tough times has an expire date, but don't let you dream be expired before the tough time, challenges build you up, one thing I've come to discover is that, the end of a thing marks the beginning of others. If it seems, you come to a dead end or a road block, look up, u-turn is allowed. Sometimes you need to take a step backward so as you come out strong. Just like the arrow, for it to be effective, you have to pull it backward before it is released. So also in life, there a times you will need to take it slow, and take a step back, so as to relaunch yourself to greater height.
Never be deceive, there is no journey, that is devoid of storm, every successful sailor have master how to weather the storm, if you want to be successful you must learn how to weather the storm of life and you use it to your own advantage, don't be lick up by the fog of life, it will just blur your vision. If you can't endure the dark days, forget about the sunshine, also, if you can't endure the the stormy days, forget about the shore.
If you can't endure the pain in achieving your vision and goals just don't think of the gain, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel for those who endure to go through.
So if you can endure it, definitely you will enjoy it.

LABOUR PRECEED CHILD BIRTH

Success is not given, it is earn through rigorous planning and continuous perspiration. For you to deliver the vision, dream or idea you've conceived, it must passes through the labor room , while in the labor room you must not give up on it you must keep pushing, even if no one is encouraging you, because the labor room is the final stage for your idea to come to life.
One thing you must know that, life is not bed of roses, it is full of ups and down, the pain you go through today, prepares your for the gain of tomorrow.
Before childbirth comes the labor room, that is where the child is been delivered, so also in life, if you are going through challenges, know that you are in the labor room, and can afford to give up now because the world are waiting for you to come out of the theater with the child of you dream, not with excuses and complaint why you can't give birth to the man of your dream. Like I wrote yesterday, keep the story of how you are about to make it to yourself, or how hard it is to keep pushing on, the world doesn't need, what they want is to celebrate your glory, not you to bore them with your story.
Always remember, that challenge is just a popular bus top, you are just stopping over for a while, before you board a vehicle to your destination. Now look out, you've linger enough, its time to board that vehicle and keep the dream alive.
Never give up in the labor room, because your are nearly to your dream than you think.

NO EASY CITY

If you are to get to the promise land, you must endure the journey of 40 days in the wilderness. You don't just wake up and arrive at your destination, you just don't have a dream today and achieve it the next day, no it doesn't work like that, there is always a process and path filled with bumps to pass through before arriving at your destination.
Do you think having a goal, dream, ideas and vision will give you instant success or the recognition you crave for? Joseph vision took HIM to 3 P's before he finally arrived at the designated P . The first P is inside the pit of life full of tribulation and problem, and later took him to the Potiphar's house as a slave, (that is the second p) where you will have no choice of your own, no voice of yours, then from Potiphar's house to prison of life (third p) where every dream seems void, then Joseph will have been wondering is this indeed the vision I had? Then from prison straight to the PALACE to become a PRIME MINISTER in a strange land.
Having a vision those not mean you will have a smooth ride to success it means your vision will be tested with fire before it becomes GOLD.
Let me tell you this, there is no easy city any where in the world, because pains beget gains.

Change is the only thing that is constant in life. one of the characteristics of a living organism is adaptation, that is the ability to change and adapt to his/her new environment or situation.
The current regime has a slogan which is CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME, actually Change begin with an individual, nobody can change you, you are the architect of your life, so therefore you are the only person that can change yourself, but the real change begin within you. Your mind it’s a battle field, there is a war going inside you every blessed day, the way you manage and tame your mind will determine who you will be.
If you want to change the world, try to change yourself, and if you want to change yourself, change your mind. This story illustrate it better ‘ A long time ago there was a king who embarked on a long journey, those days there was neither sandal nor motors for transportation, when the King came back from his journey, his leg was covered with sores, He lamented “the world is full of thorns”, he said to his servant, cover the whole world with leather. One of his chief advice him that instead of covering the whole world with leather why can’t he just cut a little pieces of the leather to cover his leg.’
To change the world, why can’t you change your perspective about the world, if you think that you are in a problem, why don’t you change your mind, thinking that there is an opportunity in every problem. if you are buffeted by the wind and you feel like giving up, why don’t you think that when the going get tough the tough get going. when the world gives you a hundred reason to cry, why can’t you give them a billion reason to laugh. when other say you can’t make it, why can’t you girdle up your loin and tell them you are up to the task.

FEAR
Fear is the dark room where people develops there negative potential
Many people live in constant fear, they are scared of who they are, of what they want to become, they are scared of failure and whosoever that is scared of failure will never attain success. Fear is the constant feeling of depressed emotions, when you allow fear to eat much into you, you will just be stagnant in a place, because you will be afraid of moving forward and even scared of taken a step backward.
Human set a limitations or and imaginary boundaries for themselves because of fear of exploiting.
If you don’t launch your goal because of fear nobody will do it for you, remember that nobody congratulate a pregnant woman, but people will always celebrate her when she put to bed,regardless of the pain she pass through.
If you don’t conquer the fear, it will dominate you and turn you to a slave of your talent. Remember Apostle Paul letter to Timothy, it say ‘for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind’.
Overcoming your fear will liberate you to achieve or fulfill your destiny. Never let your mind settled for the spirit of fear because it will reduce you to nough
t. This story illustrate it better.
A mouse was in constant distress because of it’s fear of the cat. A magician look pity on it and turn into a cat. But then it became afraid of the dog, so the magician turn it into a dog, then it began to the panther, the magician also turn it into a panther, where upon it was full of fear of the hunter. At this point the magician gave up, he turned it into a mouse again saying ‘ nothing I do for you is going to be of any help because you have the heart of a mouse”.
You are still battling with some of your problem because you are scared that they will always be there and you can’t do without them. You are struggling to be great in life but right inside your mind you are afraid of making step to be great so you settled for the level of mediocre.
You might look like a lion, you might change your appearance, but if you don’t change your mind from that of a mouse to that of a lion, you will just be battling with fear of failure which will hinder you to succeed.
How can you be great if your mind doesn’t portrait what you are fighting for?
TAME YOUR FEAR, CHANGE YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE AND RULE YOUR WORLD.

PROCRASTINATION
In life the only thing that is constant is change as I’ve discuss in vol1. I will be writing on procrastination in this volume. In layman term, according to Oxford dictionary procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something while according to Wikipedia, procrastination is the avoidance of of doing a task that needs to be accomplished. It is the practise of doing more pleasurable ones.
Procrastination is a disease that leads to wasting of time. Always remember that when you lose an opportunity it can be regain back, if you squander money extravagantly, you can regain it back but TIME wasted can never be regain. There is this paradigm that I love most, it says I live my life everyday as if is going to be my last day, any good things I can do let me do it now for I know I will pass through this place not twice but once.
Never procrastinate because it kills and destroy man ambition, if you have a goal give time go. Never wait till tomorrow to fulfill your dream because tomorrow maybe too late. Whatsoever dream or goal you have launch it now. DO IT NOW, never put the task that should be done today till tomorrow.
Change your orientation and set your priority right, if you miss the mark today you might not regain it back. Life is all about grabbing the right opportunity at the right Time. This poem said it all,
DECISION
Nevertheless, never the far
Be decisive, be instant
Borrow the wings of eagle
And cheetahs leg
To do thy did
Thinking too much, looking too much
Might send you to procrastination abyss
Procrastination kills man’s inspiration

MARCHING OUT OF THE LINE
Many of the times we create an imaginary boundary and limitations for ourselves which hinder us to see the land of manifestation.
A man was passing through a farm he saw an elephant tied to a tree by a small rope and was amazed, out of curiosity, that how can a small and thinning rope tied down a big elephant, so he went ahead to asks the farmer that, how come that the small rope was able to tied down this big elephant. The farmer replied, when the elephant was small I used the small rope to tied it down, then it was impossible to break loose because the rope can tied it down then, therefore the elephant still believe that the small rope can still tied it down now.
Many are like the elephant, they stayed in their limited territory without bothering to step out of the line, many are conform by their negative believe, such as the good has been chosen, why do you concluded that the good has been chosen? Are you the bad that left unchosen? Many have even convinced themselves that we have tried everything possible, some will say I have tried my best, how do you know that is your best? Just because you tried and failed once doesn’t make you a failure but you will be a failure if you fail to try again.
Life will be boring if there are no inventors, come to think of it, the inventors just go on to invent without bothering themselves that will the world accept what they have invented, so also the writer, they just write without putting the fear that will people read it or not. Stepping out of the line, moving out of yourself imposed limitations and move on to the land of manifestation. You’ve linger and waited enough, look up the light is GREEN, this the time you gear up and start moving.
Be like the four lepers, who said to each other ‘why stay here until we die’ if we say we should go into the city, the famine is there and we will die, so let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender, if they spare us we live, if they kill us, then we die.
Until you stretch yourself beyond every odds and limitations before you will get to the land of manifestation. Do not conform yourself to where you are, do not let the world conform you, do not let the word of your mouth conform you, you are created to have dominion and to rule, so therefore exercise your creation right.
Finally, the coincidence of life is that both success and failure are both intimate friends, the step you take to succeed is indirectly the steep you take to fail, because, is either you succeed or you failed, so therefore plan and take the BOLD STEP TO MOVE AND MARCH OUT OF YOUR LIMITATION ZONE

DO NOT EXCHANGE LOVE FOR LUST


Love is the greatest virtue a person can boast of. Before I proceed I will like you to define love in your own perspective, there will various definition in as much there are readers. According to the Oxford dictionary Love is a strong feelings of deep affection for somebody or something. It is a strong feelings of affection for somebody. Love cares, love cherish, and so on, the lists are endless. But it’s so alarming, that nowadays we don’t even know the definition of love anymore, many youths had exchanged the word Lust for Love and has turn the word I love you to a national motto or mantra.
Many relationships nowadays are built on lust and selfish interest, then what is Lust? Lust is a very strong sexual desire, especially when love is not involved. Many relationships are coming together of lustful youth, to fulfill their lustful desire. In the sense that, a guy seeing a Lady for the first time and the only things that attracted the guy to the lady is her shapes, her curves, the guy will concluded, meh I love her stature, I love the way she looks, I Will try to get her, mind you the guy guy said, he loves her look not the lady herself, what will happen if the look or the stature of the sister change? Or a Lady that is attracted to a guy because of his pocket, what will happen if the guy has a little challenges and stop spending as he use to? Then love evaporate and fade, whereas true love never goes into extinction.
In life everything it’s of two angles, two perspectives, we have the optimist and we also have the pessimist, so also sex it’s if two sides. Sex is good, sweet but it’s only permitted and enjoyed in marriage, when practiced outside marriage, it’s poisonous and can destroys. Any relationship based or built on sex is not a relationship built on love but of lust. There is justifiable excuse for having sex outside marriage, you must be able to zip up and wait until that night when two becomes one, because waiting is actually one of the characteristics of love, what re the characteristics of love?

THE ACT OF SERVICE


The one who serve diligently is the master of all.
To serve is not that you’re the least nor the servant, it shows that you have the ability to lead. True service generates power because it is an act of leadership because it means that the server has the wisdom and strength from which others may benefits. It also signals that the server is benevolent and caring. When an individual is both warm and powerful, we trust them enough to put our faith in them, and look to them to show the way. They pave way for other to follow, their character influences others, they stand like a mentor because they are emotionally stable and physically fit.
If you can’t serve you can’t lead because leading deals with the knowledge of serving, that’s why Jesus told his disciples that “the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who who rules like the one who serve. Serving others bring out the best in you and enable you to be mentally alert, physically fit and socially acceptable, it makes you shoulder responsibility, so therefore it mean people look up to you for direction. Mind you, there is different from serving and trying to please others. Serving is quite different from trying to please others, because if you do so, you will displease yourself to please others
, but in serving you will do it willingly and out of the love you have for it. Pleasing is something you do to get your own needs me: for approval, validation or control, but serving is when you get outside of yourself and address the needs of someone else. Serves are mentors and mentors are leader , according to John Quincy Adams and I qoute “if your action inspire others to dreammore , learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader”.
The core difference between serving and pleasingis that pleasing others reduces the self. Pleaser give away pieces of their soul until it is almost gone. They don’t have a strong sense of where they end and others begin; they don’t know where to draw the bright line of NO, or feel like they have, while service expand the self. It is done in harmony with your identity, it develops and strenthing your sense of who you are. Servers nurture strong, heathy boundaries that enables act of compassion, they can open up to the pain and darkness of others without being overwhelmed by it. They take total control of the situation, they are not licked up by the fog of others but they master to control the ship to the shore amidst of the whirlwind.
Service comes with sense of enough it shows that enough it shows that you have enough to discharge to others, and finally the act of serving is the act of a leader because LEADERSHIP DEALS WITH SERVING

INFERIORITY COMPLEX

Everybody has an important role to play and each have a vacuum to fill, that is why you are as unique as anyone else.
Literary Inferiority complex is a feeling that you are not as good, as important or as intelligent as other people.
Anybody with inferiority complex will never dream beyond the level of mediocre, whereas mediocrity itself is a disease that rob people of their dream because it will make you not to have the right mentality or the right thinking, let me remind of this popular parole that, as man thinketh so in his so he is. Inferiority complex will deduce you to think that others are far better than you, it will make you believe that the the good ones are on the field of play, but remember that sometimes in football game, it is the substitute that score the decisive goal and either earn the team 3points or it take the team to the next phase in the tournament , so also in the field of play, the world are waiting for you to come in, never weigh yourself down by saying, the good ones had been chosen, because if all the good ones had been chosen, who are you? Is it the bad one? Definitely No, because you are quite different from others, do not pull down your self esteem, but always develop your self esteem, you are as good as others, so therefore always showcase what you got, always remember that no product is known without advertisement, so therefore if you got it flaunt it. Stop self effacing because the world is waiting for you
Never feel inferior to others, because you get what they don’t have, you get what the world needs in you, just develop your self esteem and get rid of mediocrity, thinking that others are better than you, others have better background, better opportunity, and are far more better than you will do you no good but limit your potential and ability to succeed. Remember that nobody can ever be like you, you are who you are, and always know that there is a seed planted in you, which is not in others but you alone, this seed needs to be watered, cultivated and allow to germinate in order to bring out fruit and whoever eats out of the fruit will never forget the tree that bear the fruit.
Never compare yourself to another, because you are an entirely different being and nobody will be exactly like you, come to think of it, the way you laugh, the way walk, the way you play, the way you interact with others, the way you handle problems and everything you do is found in a man and that is you. Since the creation of the world, surf through the entire history of homo sapiens and you will find no one who exhibit same characteristics as you do, so therefore in human race, you are you. Nobody can be exactly like you, and that is your uniqueness.
Nobody can develop your self esteem except you, never be weary by looking at others, but develop a good self esteem by looking within and running with the vision of your goals.

THERE IS NO TOMORROW

No ones knows tomorrow is a popular parole, but I want to ask this question does tomorrow exist? Where and when is tomorrow?

I want you to understand the fact that tomorrow never exist but future is the result of the step we will take today and we are here today because of what we’ve done yesterday.

Come to think of this, when you ask a boy of 5 years old that, what do you want to become, he will say I want to be great in future (tomorrow) ask a boy of 10 years the same question, his response is that my future will be good, a guy of 20 years will say I believe that my future is bright, a man of 30 years will also say tomorrow it will be better; do you now see that tomorrow is never real.

Until you believe and start today, there will not be tomorrow, until you venture to move to your destination today, you will never arrive tomorrow; don’t be afraid of how to start just start the way you are; because you don’t have to be elephant before you are relevant in life, you can start as an ant and end up becoming more relevant than an elephant..

ILLUSION

(proverb 13 vs 7)

Illusion is a great disease that kills the success of a Person because It make you to think that you have arrived whereas you still have a long way to go.


Literary illusion means a false idea or belief especially about something or a situation. Illusion will lock you up in the room of nowhere it will blur your vision and a times it will steal your vision and will allow you to journey in a circle like a merry-go-round, just like Ralph Mahoney Illustrated that “blessed is he that runneth about in a circle all day, for he shall be called a big wheel. You will be blown by every wind because you will have no compass no map to go by.

Many youth stop dreaming because of yesterday success, without knowing that when you stop dreaming you start dying. Life is a continue process, where success breed more success. You can’t just stop aiming high because you think that you have arrived, I want you to know that you just began, the race had just started. This is not the time to feel relax of a little success.

This is not the time for show off, proverb 12 vs 9 says ‘better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food.’ You’re nobody if you don’t build on your little success, if you feel that yes, am in my season, I have arrived, the world are under my feet, wait, pause, and check the time, check your achievement and redefine or fine tune your goal, or else you will just be a one time wonder.

In life nobody is at inertia, because sometimes you will have to bend, while at others time you will have to move straight. Don’t just sit down and start smiling about yesterday success in today, try to make today count and celebrate another success tomorrow.

Have you ever notice that when you are travelling,looking ahead of you, it will seems that there is water on the highway, on getting to that point, you will discover that there is no water there, in science it’s called mirage, it’s the potent weapon of illusion, it will blur your vision and knocked you out of your mission because vision is the motor to board to one’s destination. You must be a visionier, because that is what will propel you, it will boast your will-power so as to keep you moving on the rough surface and when the going gets tough, you get going because of the vision driven you. Without a vision there will be no destination because it will be your guide and give you direction and a map to the land of manifestation. To crown it all, vision is the revelation of destination.

Finally, yesterday success is not enough excuse for today failure, make everyday count, make every month a success and you will be a superstar.

REALIZE YOUR VISION

what you are doing now, just keep doing it, remember that, six times the children of Israel went round the wall of Jericho and nothing happened, until they repeat the process for the seventh time. So also, success is a cumulative effect of preparation, perspiration and supplication, so, don't give up, its too early to give up now.

There is no essence of having a vision, preparing and planning for it, perspire for it, if you don't actualize it.

Giving up now its just like turning back at the entrance when you are about to go in thinking that the door is still shut, you are closer to achieving your dream than you think.

Realizing your vision is just like a man cutting down a tree with an Axe, he cannot afford to give up after the first unsuccessful blow. The more blows on the tree, the more it get weaken, at the 100th blow, the tree comes crashing down, note that, it wasn't the 100th blow that cut down the tree, but the effects of the previous blows.

Never give up on your dreams, ideas, just because you ain't getting result now, success comes from continuous perspiration, keep on to the vision and actualize the dream.
