Hello gurus in the house. I'm going for my biometric tomorrow and I'd like to find out if I can upgrade to Priority at the center and what the process is. I tried to do that online but it was declined due to the 100dollar spending limit. Please I'd appreciate an urgent reply.

If you are going to Abuja, just go with a dollar card or you pay at home or you use the agents outside. Abuja people can tell you that they are not using naira card leaving you with the option of go home and come back another day for walk-in or submit like that (personal experience)

For those in lagos, I’ve heard them testify that they paid inside TLS centre

Which airport beteween Abuja & Lagos is the most convenient to travel overseas considering the COVID 19 restrictions.
I am travelling with my family and we will be haveing up to 10 bags(Family of 4).
I am based in PH and i need some insights/info on which airport would be easy/convenient, to get from the domestic to international wing.

Thanks in advance.

Submission 2nd September.
Biometrics 24th.

Puckup Today.

I am grateful to all of you guys for all your advice. And to those still waiting I pray the good Lord put a song of joy like it for me today.

More especially to Anitaamich, I await your great news.

Meanwhile, please which of the airlines do not ask for Covid test?

Secondly I am headed to Southampton and will continue fro Heathrow by road. Do I have to quarantine in London or are mine allowed to go straight to Southampton and guarantine?

Thirdly, though I already reserved a place to quarantine in Southampton but is it possible for me to go straight and quarantine in my student accommodation?

Thanks in anticipation of a response.
Congratulations cheesy grin grin

Download Trainline app and National Express app and use your expected arrival dates to get more accurate timings.

See attached screenshots on some options and associated costs to Coventry. The train station is about 10-20 mins from campus.
1st screenshot is from National Express, 2nd and 3rd screenshots are from Google maps while the 4th screenshot is from Trainline.

Are you asking whether you should leave your money behind in naira in Nigeria while you travel to the UK without converting it to sterling?
If so, the answer is no.
Open a domiciliary account, convert to sterling and wire most or all of it as you prefer to TransferWise.

Please guys I have a problem. I am trying to fill my enrollment form online and mistakenly selected yes under criminal conviction. The registration process automatically throw me out. I don't have any criminal conviction and I have never been arrested nor even sumorned for any offence.

I am shaking now and there is no way to sign in and complete the form.

Please gurus in the house how I go about this ? The site said I have to contact student affairs department. I am worried and not sure how big a problem this is.

Please anyone that has ever encountered this problem should please let me know what they did in resolving it.

Any suggestation will be of help. I am just so sad and drained right now. cry cry cry cry

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by omopapa: 10:36pm On Oct 05, 2020
Do as the site suggested, contact the support team.

They might ask you to send a police report which will make your application take longer depends on how fast you can get the report.

Otherwise, they might ask you to write a signed undertaken that it was an error.

Or, they can just ask you to verbally confirm you don’t have any criminal record and have the application reset for you immediately.

Yes u can fly to london but Birmingham airport is still the best option for you if u ask me.

There’s a direct train from Birmingham airport to Wolverhampton train station which is just 30-40mins. It is less stressful and cheaper compared to coming from Heathrow airport.

Also, if u add the cost of train from london to wolves to your flight ticket, it will almost equal direct flight to Birmingham.

The adv the london route have for you is that you said you have family there, so you can rest for few days before travelling down to the West Midlands.

Have you sorted accommodation in wolves yet?

Hello Everyone, please I need your help. I’m to resume at University if Wolverhampton this month, I have already gotten my tier 4 visa . The closest airport to Wolverhampton is at Birmingham (which is expensive). I want to know if I can fly to london instead and observe the 14 day quarantine with my family there. I don’t want any issues with immigration. Any insights please?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Ibromoney: 11:31pm On Oct 05, 2020
You can access your bank app. Note, if you always need to get otp as SMS on your phone number, that won't be possible except you roam your sim which is expensive. You can leave your money in Naira provided that you can transfer money easily then when you get to the UK, you can look for people that will give you pounds and collect Naira. I plan to change some of my pounds in my UK account to Naira though. We can relate.

Well........!

1)hope you stated in your application that you have a family there(London) or at least that reality is coherent with what you filled in the form. Even at that, you must have a valid back up explanation why you are going to London

2) If its just cos of the expenses you are considering, I think its better to bear the expenses of going via the nearest airport to your destination. In my own case, my terminus was at my destination(Manchester) I had a connecting flight from LON to MAN. from Manchester airport, we still had to take a train to the city before taking private vehicle home. My Luggage which was a plastic box was all broken and scattered by the time I received it at the airport. It wasn't a joke moving it with all the wheels lost and the bag itself broken. You can imagine if I wasn't going straight to destination with that ordeal. Twas still crazy even though I had someone to come and pick me.

On the other hand, if your family's place its not a long journey from the airport it could be a better option for you as you might be able to catch your breath from the trip for the 14 days of quarantine and then rearrange for your journey to final destination

Just my opinion and all the best
