Perhaps, you know more than the CP that I quote below.

In his word, only FSARS operatives have the right to wear a jacket with the inscription ‘FSARS’, saying all other states Special Anti Robbery Squads, (SAR), which are commanded by state commissioners of police are to wear the inscription SARS without F.”

FYI, there is no rule preventing a state CP from having its own SARS which they do.

FSARS, SARS, ANTI CULTISM SQUAD and all other tactical police units are not regular police that should be issued personal firearms or seen routinely patrolling.

They are supposed to be seen only when responding to high level crimes based on call for backup and getting the green light of the appropriate police authority.

Tactical units are specially trained usually with superior firearms and more specialized weapons to respond to high level crimes that can't be handled by regular police. They are usually on standby just like the fire service that'll be called upon when needed.

Let FG allow citizens to possess private guns for their safety. This rubbish will stop ah swear.

Then, they should just scrap it. Let mobile police guys be responsible for facing armed robbers. No one should tell me they ain't capable, seen those guys face soldiers before head-on, something SARS will and can NEVER do.

As for financial and cyber crimes, let EFCC handle that.

First of all SARS even Regular police never respond to any violent crime of any type, they don't attend to banks under attack, they don't attend to citizens who are being robbed or kidnapped, thats even if your call gets through and someone actually picks it (lagos excluded those guys are refined)

Someone bashed my car few weeks back , new car for that matter o , I don't know where they got sticks from, those guys were ready to kill me and my passengers , did i mention they bashed me from the back ? yeah , i got to a bad portion and slowed down, those boys on drugs or whatever it is rammed into me at least 40km/h speed , i had to run for my life , they chased my occupants with sticks as well, and removed my car keys , My point ? i SAW A FULL LOAD OF SARS OPERATIVES DRIVING ALONG , I RAN TO THE FRONT OF THEIR CAR ,BEGGED THEM TO HELP ME / SAVE ME , these idiots just looked me bad eye and continued driving on , FUNNY thing the vehicle that bashed me was a lexus jeep , probably a month or so old , 3 guys with tattoos , gold chain and shyt , i guess they have made enough money that day otherwise they'd have parked
