Ondo 2020: The God I serve shall see me through – Akeredolu

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has urged the people of the state to be peaceful and orderly as they go to the poll to elect a new helmsman tomorrow 10th October, 2020.

Akeredolu, who is the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), appealed to the people to conduct themselves in a responsible manner to prove all book makers who had predicted a violence-marred poll, wrong.

In a three-paragraph statement signed by the Director-General of his campaign council, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, Akeredolu said he has done his best for the people, and leave the rest to God and the people of the state to decide tomorrow.

“Good people of Ondo State, I thank you for your support thus far. Campaign activities officially came to an end yesterday. We thank you for conducting yourself peacefully and honourably. As you go to the poll tomorrow to choose your new Governor, I urge you to be peaceful and honourable like you have always been.

“Please, do not provoke anyone, and do not be provoked. Be orderly, say no to violence. Say no to vote-buying. Ensure you are responsible as you perform your civic responsibilities tomorrow. And most importantly, remember the sons and daughters of whom you are.

“Remember, a good name is better than gold and riches. As for us, we have done our best, and leave the rest to God. We sincerely believe the God we serve with one mind will see us through,” the statement, concluded.

The god you serve will see you back to Ibadan sir, you are a wicked governor. You did not consider God when you increased school fees from 35k to 260? Did you consider the poor among us or the civil servant earning little salaries and how they pay for the children?. When you start collecting money for the maternal care Mimiko left as free for all pregnant women you didn’t consider God then. You are wicked gaaan!! If Mimiko can let our pregnant women give birth free, and let our students pay 35k as fees then it’s doable.. sir, you enjoyed free education and even if you must increase not from 35k to 260k it shows you are of the devil!! don’t call God unto this. You are going back to Ibadan where you came from. Do you know some students drop out cause their parents can’t afford to pay? Taxing people selling tomatoes in the market.. mr governor you are evil and God will not see you through cause he’s a good God and friend of the poor.
