Issuance of Tourist and Work Permit/Residence Visas have started for those within and outside UAE. But here's still a little bit of modalities going on for Residence Permit issuance from Abuja Embassy for Nigerians.

Just have a bit of patience everything will be soughted out with time.

Yes, Visas are going for Nigerians inside UAE but those outside still have to wait a bit. Everything will be perfected soon.

Just wait.

The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, has announced that henceforth, travellers to the United Arab Emirates must possess confirmed return ticket, negative COVID-19 test result and valid health insurance covering the duration of stay.

The CGI, Muhammad Babandede wishes to communicate new visa regulations introduced by the UAE’s authority in view of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

"UAE bound passengers are expected to be in possession of the following: Confirmed return ticket; confirmed hotel reservation for the duration of stay in UAE or address of residence in the UAE or address of relatives of the visitor playing host while in the UAE; a negative PCR test taken within 96 hrs before departure; valid health insurance, copies of trade licenses in the UAE and Nigeria, if applicable.

“The Nigeria Immigration Service hereby, advises all UAE-bound passengers to avoid denial of departure from Nigeria and repatriation from the country concerned due to non-compliance.”

Please I need to know if it will be mandatory for someone who is UAE resident, i.e has an employment visa and works in UAE, but traveled home to Naija on vacation and wants to return to UAE to have a return ticket before he/she can be allowed to leave naija. I want to assume this requirement is only applicable to travelers with visit Visa or am I wrong? Can someone with the correct information clarify this, please.

God will never forgive those Travel agents back home in Nigeria. They will sit there in that their godforsaken office and promise people they have jobs in Dubai, some of them that have not even boarded a plane before. People like Capital Travels in Ojodu Berger with the sweetest mouth I have ever seen. I will provide more update on him later.
Please,if you have a job of even 50k per month and to some extent you are comfortable with it with no pressure,I will advise you to stick with, save up till you can afford Europe or US. Those that mostly don't complain and endure are those that have no job at all back home,or are already used to hard labour, how do you expect such a person to complain?? Have you ever worked in an Indian company in Nigeria? You know how they treat people? That's volume one of what you are going to experience here in UAE.
Am talking not from my only personal experience but what 95% of us are facing here but those here too won't tell you the truth cos we Nigerians can live fake life hen? Fake everything...My people, your cool 50k is better than 1200diram here with hard labour!
you’re right and I understand your frustration but not everyone is getting 1200 dirhams and sleeping on bunk bed, uae is no longer juicy for Nigerian job seekers but there’s still
More hope here than Nigeria. Even with ur low paid job in Nigeria you’re still at risk of police brutality, armed robbery. Any nigerian getting 4K aed above will have a different view and will be a bit comfortable in uae

Do you speak Hindi? Do you have money for extra 3months visa change? Are you ready to return to Nigeria if you don't find the job you came for? Can you afford the living conditions and rent? If any of these questions is NO or not sure, I will advise you and others to try again later or try another country for now.
There is limited opportunities currently for these kinds of jobs for now and for Nigerians.

plumber in Nigeria is different from plumber here, anything related to construction is 100% hard labour in uae just leave it for Asians. The weather is harsh for any outdoor related job and they’re mostly poorly paid. Stay in Nigeria or look elsewhere but if you insist don’t come abd cry foul here later, thank you.

PCR test is for people travelling in or out of UAE or people going to Abu Dhabi. It's currently around 150AED.

I read on UAE labor page that it is now compulsory that visitors/Tourist visa holders must have 2000aed BTA physically available on arrival. The victims on arrival airport are been repatriated upon non possession of the basic requirement of the fund, but however advised that travellers should check with authority for confirmation of this claim before boarding.
