100,000 Naira Help/loan!!! by Nobody: 6:51pm On Oct 10, 2020
I don't know if you have ever read my previous post here https://www.nairaland.com/6110238/heartbreak-she-left-what...

Good day to you NL family and friends. How is the family doing and how to work over there!! NL family and friends please I had to gather my few family members and friends to my wife's family to beg my wife to come back at least for the sake of my kids. So I and her discussed and ended up in opening a shop. She said we should start up something while we pray for God's blessings upon whatever business we do. Instead of this struggling up and down and people are using me for a slave at the end of the day I come home with nothing that can't even feed the kids. So we ended up in going for a family restaurant business cos she is a caterer and knows how to cook well. Please I need a help of 100,000 Naira (Loan) if possible for the sake of my little kids so that I can get a shop and start of the family restaurant business I want to do with my wife, please... My little kids are really hungry. Someone confirmed my situation and decided to give my kids a scholarship to start school because I have given up already. So now I want to start doing something with my wife so that my kids can feed on. And we have a very good business plan but capital is bringing us down so badly. Please save me on this and I will keep whoever that will listen to my cry updated on a daily basis on how everything is going, please. Please do this for us for the sake of my 2 little kids. I am tired of asking and commenting for help every day to feed my kids. I want to start the business I know how to do best. I want to be a giver to others who are in needy too. Please help me. I want to be a good Dad with my kids. Imagine my kids and wife's birthday is this month. My daughter will be 4yrs on the 13th of this Oct. My son will be 2yrs old on the 23rd of this Oct while my wife will be +1 on the 15th of this same month October Please here is my whatsapp number 08070751915 and if you want to call me here is my calling number 08169934065 please

The shop we saw is big enough my good NL family and friends, the landlord said once I make the payment that they will complete it up immediately. He just want to collect normal rent and commission alone because I explain everything about my situation to him. And I know this place will be a good opportunity for us and the kind of business we want to start up. Please save life from here because depression, thinking and sleepless night is really killing me.

You can start the cooking from your home and deliver to people. Or you cook and put in wheel barrow and sell at busy corners.

Or get a small umbrella and sell in a busy corner inside coolers, people will just buy it as takeaway.
Another option is go to offices that don’t have standard canteens and offer to supply them breakfast or lunch, or both.

Earn the money for your restaurant business yourself, every problem in your life mustn’t be solved by running to Nairaland to beg.

People don’t appreciate money that they didn’t hustle, that’s why it didn’t occur to you to start small. You don’t have money you have already gone to start pricing shop, where did you expect the money to appear from?
Go and start small and build from there.

What is the children plea about please? You’re not stable and you have 2 children. I hope you learn to be more responsible than you have displayed so far.

I was sick for over 3 months since January till the beginning If April I know all I and my family went through. Of rent on the 5th of September my wife gave up leaving the 2 little kids for me alone and follow the advice of evil friends, but thank God I went with people to beg for days before she could come back. We have nothing to even start any business I hardly feed the kids I am not fully recovered but my kids stomach knows nothing about my health because kids must eat. I struggle and face any hustle I see to bring home anything for us to feed on. Someone read my previous post and called then he asked me what we can do I told him everything he told me to look for a shop and tell him about it. Which I did and he sent us 5k saying I should post here so that good people might contribute and donate for us, that was how I know the price of the shop. We are here in a village called Igesu Ayobo if you want to come and confirm. I sold almost all the valuable things in my house during me sickness for feeding and small small medications couldn't go to the hospital cos no money for that. I'm just asking for an assistant and I know is tough and hard out there but I strongly believe that the Almighty will touch the heart of good ones who will understand my pains. I am not a graduate na even SS2 I stopped years back im 33yrs now. I wasn't this way before sha someone I trusted so much messed me up but I had to move on and keep on doing things I never thought I will ever do but all for the sake of my kids. I'm just praying for Favour and blessings. Thanks for you reading and your opinion also. If we had any capital to start anything we would have not single feeding for the kids even. But I believe!!

You and your wife can’t farm in the village where you are? If you don’t have your own farm you can’t assist others in return for payment?

You can’t do anything else to feed your family? You and your wife are completely alone in this world, no relatives or friends that know you? The people who followed you to go beg your wife cut you off as well?

If Nairaland didn’t exist you won’t be able to feed your family? Or it’s just easier to gather 100k in Nairaland?

The link above has a list of some companies that give loans, please go through it and you might find one that might assist you. You might not get 100k, but you could get something.

Also for the ones that need employment letter, if you’re trust worthy then one of your relatives might be willing to assist you collect 50k on your behalf and you’ll service the loan through the person.
Except you don’t have anyone that trust you or your wife, then that will tell a lot about your characters.

Thanks if you have time you can go through my other posts. You are lucky and probably blessed in your own family does not mean every other families must be just as good and helpful as yours. He who give me fish today when it finishes and go back to ask for fish tomorrow and next he will get angry remember. So as a man I want to finish my own than to be given the fish. People receive all kinds of bitter response when they speak out. That is why so many are dying silently cos when they speak out to seek for help and assistance people call them lazy even when they don't know what they are passing through. Thanks anyways I really appreciate. There is no loan company that I have not downloaded only Sokoloan accepted my statement and lend me 7k which I paid that was around February and I collected 14k I have not been able to pay them back till date and the money is now reading 26k+ now. They even called and texted all my contact list. And what happened next? None has ever asked how are you guys coping... But I know that my helper will come from the Lord when it's time. Thanks

If you are unable to pay back the loan you took from Sokoloan since February and none of your relatives both from your side and that of your in-laws can stick out their necks to get a loan for you in their names, is it not risky loaning you? Will it not become uncollectible?

Just like someone suggested earlier, you don't need to start from a shop. Cook from home and go deliver, build from there.

Anyone who wants to help the op should not make it a loan. From his story he obviously needs help and he's broke. Trust me I'm there right now.

Op, let's try and put your situation into perspective.

First you have no one to help you with cash. Check.

No job. Check.

Owu dey. Check.

The question is what do you have?

Your wife can cook. Check.

You are willing to help with the business. Check.

You have a business plan. Check. (Problem is your business plan includes a shop).

Follow CanadianNaija's advice and sell at a bus stop or market instead. Know what you need.

A table/wheelbarrow
Take away plates
Coolers
Pots and stove for cooking at home

You can start with jollof rice and plantain and stew in the morning. You know all those hot rice on your way to work in the morning.

Start with maybe a paint of rice and small stew with ponmo and meat.

Invest in spices and ingredients.

Start. Starting is the most important part and you can start small. You don't need to start with a shop. It is better to set up a table or wheelbarrow in a busy place than have a shop in a place that is not busy.

Your primary target should be to sell and make profit. Shop is not as important.

Find out how much it will cost to set this up. Your kids can eat breakfast guaranteed for a start if it goes well.

Maybe you can come back and ask for help to start. It should not cost more than 20k - 50k to start on this scale and it will be easier for someone to help.

I understand your situation. You need to be strong and most importantly TAKE ACTION.

Even most important is to start with what you have.

Good luck

Paying back the loan as long as we are doing business and with what we want to do over here it will move so very much and very well and paying back the loan won't even be a problem at this Igesu no restaurant yet I tried to upload the picture of the shop I am talking about but my MB is not enough to load it. As for Sokoloan I have been owning them the 14k since because it has not been easy for me and my family I struggle for us to feed, Since my daughter was born she has Umbilical hernia (Serious navel pains) if you are on whatsapp you can message me and let me show you so many cards, receipts from different hospitals that nearly took my life. I sold everything I have treating and making sure they feed. Now the pain comes once in a while like 2 times in a month and whenever it comes I swear down no sleeping for the whole day. I attached the pics of the shop again I don't know if it will go through this time.

Thank you so so very much for been the only one to understand my situation here. God bless. I really understand all your suggestions my biggest problem right now is that, shishi I don't even have with me. Okay since 3 days now my daughter has been seriously sick. Tomorrow supposed to be her birthday which she will be turning 4yrs old and my wife will be +1 on the 15th while my son will be 2yrs old on the 23rd of this same month. I can't even boost of buying them 350 bread. I am not sleeping one place hoping for people to read and cry over my story to help me, no!!! I am only asking for any assistant from the heart of the good people of NL. Even to start the cooking at home and hawking it around we can but wetin we wan use start am. As restaurant your first meal cooking determine how customers will put you in their record. No matter how we want to manage it at all at all 20k upward will be needed. As I dey like this I can't even say I have up to 700 naira in my bank account. Whatever I make everyday out there I dey use am buy whatever e reaches for my family while coming home. I'm just hoping and asking the good heart of NL for this assistant I know is tough and rough out there but please for the love everyone have for kids. Imagine 3 birthdays in a month from one family, but we go just dey silent it hurts my wife is not even happy and since she came back like this the attitudes alone is not even here at all. I just dey struggle day and night na make God just answer my prayers e remain like this

By who? Please no!!! Only one brother sent me 1,100 he also shared the screenshot there. The person only asked me what 50k can do for us that was when I rushed looking for a space where to start up cooking of indomie or paga before one brother told me about the opportunity of this shop and how cheap it is cos the landlord want to build it. Nobody gave me 50k the person never replied again but I'm still hoping God touches and remind them. But as for now. No I only got 1,100 from one person check it well

@ Op,
Sorry for all you are going through.
I will advise you to forget about the thought of your families birthday celebration this year, as long as there is life ,there are many birthdays to come. It sounds funny to me that it's even an issue at this point in your life,it's misplaced priority. The most important thing is to raise money for business.

No no no, we are not even putting that in agenda at all. I am just saying it. My wife understands and the main issue now is what the kids will eat and what brings in their needs. We are not asking to celebrate their birthday I am asking for the help of the business please whatever assistant and help little by little God will see us through. Yes is very hard out there and I know the Almighty will show his mercy for us if not for anything at least for the sake of my little kids. I pray for Favour to locate me some people who will truly understand.

I was never this way when I got married in 2016. My situation is a very long story even when I posted it here on NL people also told me to move on and keep praying. In this life never trust a friend someone I know for over 14yrs ended my progress and put me into someone who is struggling and suffering to feed, like we always says. I leave everything to God and I know the right time is coming when everything will be in other back. No hope lost is just that depression, sleepless nights, thinking and unhappiness is just killing me day by day but I know that soonest I will praise the Almight. And remember that table can turn any day but in every situation lets just be thanking God and be good to people. Since 2018 till date na all the people I have been so good too dey support me and my family. My kids are been given scholarship e no easy. But I am tired of been given a fish I want to start fishing my own fish. Thanks
