Iwobi, 62, came to Italy in the 1970s on a student visa, got married to his Italian wife and became a councilor for the party in 1995. Iwobi said that he wasn’t against immigration but that he wanted people to travel to Italy “legally.” He was elected senator in the same region where his colleague Attilio Fontana, who had called for the “white race” to be defended, became governor.

Iwobi bill was deeply affected black immigrants to Italy.

I support the man, if you must migrate, do it legally. Illegal migration has lead to man ills, people been sold as sex slaves, human body part of prisoners sold in libya, people drowning in the ocean.

It isn’t worth it, they should all join the current protest and fight against the oppressors instead of running away.

Yes he did, you can goto google, read up about him and any sane person should be against illegal migration, unless you’re a human trafficker.

it doesn't matter. Italy is popularly known for prostitution and by Nigerian girls . That doesn't project the image or the two countries well. Most of the girls that go their for prostitution do so illegally

In fact the entire western world should propose a bill to stop Nigerians from coming to their country legally.
At the last count Nigerians spent more than 5billion dollars yearly on education tourism.
Our yearly budget for education is less than 50million dollars. This comprise both for recurrent, research and capital expenditure.
Yet people still want the country to operate on a status quo cos they r being favoured

The man will only be used and dumped by the lega "fascist". they have nothing good to offer him. They want to use him against black man, an immigrant against immigrants. Most of you condemning illegal immigrants don't really know what it takes to migrate, most of them claiming legal or citizen of another country were once illegal, who gave our colonised master legal documents to enter our country.
Mr Nwobi is just a fucking racist and he needs to be told.

Balotelli attacks Italy’s first black senator, Nigeria’s Toni Iwobi
Posted by News Express | 7 March 2018 | 3,108 times

Italian footballer Mario Balotelli has attacked the country’s first black senator in an online post.

Toni Iwobi was elected on Sunday for the anti-immigration Lega party.

“Maybe I’m blind or perhaps they have not told him yet that he is black. But shame!!!” the footballer posted on Instagram.

Born in northern Nigeria, Mr Iwobi came to Italy in 1976 and became a councillor for Lega (the League) in the Lombardy city of Spirano in 1995.

What did Balotelli’s post say?

The Italy striker, who plays for French Ligue 1 side Nice, put his post on Instagram on Tuesday.

Accompanying the text was a photo of Mr Iwobi and League leader Matteo Salvini, both raising clenched fists and wearing T-shirts saying “Stop Invasion” at an anti-immigration rally.

While there have been black members of Italy’s lower house, the Chamber of Deputies, the 62-year-old Toni Iwobi is the first black senator.

In a Facebook post celebrating his election, Mr Iwobi thanked Mr Salvini, who he called “a great leader”.

Last month, Mario Balotelli was booked by a referee for pointing out racist chants made during his side’s 3-2 loss to Dijon.

Anti-discriminatory body Fare said the striker should get “added protection” from referees for highlighting such abuse. (BBC)

Good motion. If u see the way Nigerian Prostitutes tarnishing our image there u'll be ashamed. 80% of illegal immigrants selling their body in Italy are from Nigeria. They live in filthy places, in bushes, their place of resident isn't worth dog sleeping.
