It's no secret that the government has long acceded to all the demands of the protesters - some met and others being implemented - yet the protests linger on..

This raises more questions: what exactly do these people want? Is it actually about SARS? Is ENDSARS just a front for something bigger? Are criminals behind this? And so many other questions..

But it looks like we've been looking too far for something that's very close, right in front of us... HUNGER, AWOOF..

People are marching out, enmasse to partake in the "goodies" as MANNA falls from the sky... At last, God answered our prayers.. MANNA is falling.. Littering all over the streets of the POVERTY CAPITAL of the WORLD; and "protest" is the only license needed to have access to these wonders.. So much so that anyone who supports #ENDPROTESTNOW is instantly declared an enemy of the state..

Quite unfortunate that the protest, which started off genuinely, as a fight for freedom, and the call for the end of police brutality has now been reduced to a poverty alleviation program. Not only that, unscrupulous elements have desecrated the protest grounds, turning it into processions, music and dancing grounds..

This ground has now become the epicenter of all criminal activities and political permutations.. Wine, women and weed are being emphasized, as political thugs and other underworld groups go about committing all manner of atrocities.

Yet, the naive people, who are now reduced to mere pawns, are still in the streets "hustling" for their daily MANNA in the name of protests. People are hungry. People are frustrated. And too bad, the evil elements are very much aware of this and decided to exploit them.

But is this ever going to end? This I can't tell.. For me, I don't see an end in sight, unless the government decides to be creative and come up with the best way to put an end to all this, before these evil elements, exploiting the hungry stomach of innocent Nigerians, wreak more havoc on us..

May God see us through..

Nigeria go better..

You called your brothers in arms?
Well everyone has an opinion, I’m just happy that human rights violations during this protest is still below 50% compared to the low level tolerance this administration has for protesters.

I have seen in this country so many wonders which hunger and poverty can cause. Nigeria is in dire need of this prayer.

Nice writing skills you got there op.
Where was this writing skill when madam human disaster said she fed school pupils with 13.5bn and shared over 6bn for palliatives in the poverty capital of the world.

That particular MAÑNA did not reach the people.

My beloved brother, if you have any proof of fraud, please petition the relevant authorities.

Sadiya Umar Farouq has denied the allegations and challenged ICPC and anyone with proof to publish details of persons involved in N2.7b school feeding fund fraud.

Once this is provided and the government fails to act, then we can complain.

But for now, let's give her the benefit of the doubt that she's innocent, as guaranteed by the law, which declares all the accused innocent until proven guilty.

God bless Nigeria.

There's a tone of mockery in these two posts; the type you hear from king's courtiers who are filled with tender meat and sweet wine from the king's table when they seek to speak down on the downtrodden who desire a little respite from the king.

Where's your proof that it's hunger that is driving people to the protest?

My brother, let's not even go too far.. Read the testimonies of notable "protesters" like Falz and other celebrities. You'll get a hint that the protest has been reduced to partying and feasting.. And their testimonies are being corroborated by thousands of commenters who are also protesters, on various social networking sites, like Facebook, Twitter, Nairaland, etc. No be me invent am, my beloved brother.

But las las, Nigeria go better cheesy

My beloved brother, you're reading meaning into this too much, and it's not good.. Anyone can intentionally read meanings into anything, to align with their interests. Not good. Let's try to understand things from the writer's point of view.

May God help us cheesy

are u aware of 5of5 and 7 points demand? if right things are done, protests will end. there are many civil societies involved in distribution of food. if demands are met, CSO will stop funding the protests.

My brother, I am very much aware, likewise the government. Some of the demands have been implemented and the remaining are being implemented.. You can't reform the police overnight.. So why are we still protesting?

Biko, we should "call of" the protests and let government do its job.

God bless Nigeria.

I asked you for proof not opinions of others.
You claimed the protest is driven by hunger.
Show us proof that those protesting are driven by hunger.
At least you asked for proof on behalf of madam disaster

Lol, my beloved brother, that's no longer an opinion, but a fact.

1. It's a FACT protesters are given free food.
2. It's a fact that most protesters are now using the protest to mingle..
3. It's a fact that the protest has now become an arena for socializing in a manner akin to partying and feasting, this has been corroborated by thousands of protesters, including celebrities. They have even tagged it "partying and feasting".. I am not a protester. So my points are ones made by thousands of protesters, including notable "leaders" like Falz and Segalink(who alleged the protest has been hijacked)
4. It's a fact that pictures of hørny males and females "exchanging currents" have resurfaced online..

All these point to one thing - THE PROTEST has been DEFEATED.. And they are PROOF I DIDN'T MAKE ANYTHING UP. My points were collected from various sources, which can be verified even on this forum.

God bless you.

My brother, government CAN'T, NO GOVERNMENT CAN, implement ALL demands within a very short period of time. Some of the demands have been met, while the remaining are BEING implemented. They're still work IN PROGRESS..

I hope you understand, my brother.

We should give them a benefit of doubt. We can't be constituting nuisances on the street until ALL DEMANDS are met. Unless you're telling me the protest will be going on for a long time until EVERYTHING is 100%, which doesn't make any sense to me.

Please, let us be patient. Our cries have been heard. Let's give government the benefit of the doubt.

May God bless us all.
