Hello House,

I did the paid email escalation and I got the response below:

"Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.

With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application, I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision.

If it has been over 15 working days for non- settlement applications or 60 working days for settlement applications, please provide the following details:

Full Name
Date of Birth
GWF number
IHS number
Passport number
Place of submission
Type of Visa applied for
Date of biometrics
Nationality
E-mail address used on application:"

Mine has been over 38 working days now. Should I still respond with my details even though its been less than 60 working days?

Be patience. There is delay because your application was not straight forward. When application is not straight forward there is usually delay in reaching a decision. (They are making verification) and that is taking them time. They will certainly reach a decision and then notify you immediately their investigation or check is finish.

So be patience.

All the best.

Your application is still within the timeline, unless you paid for priority. Completing this is as good as escalating a delayed application. I would suggest you wait since they already said it is being considered.

Hello house,

Today makes it a week since I got a mail that a decision as been made and my passport as been dispatched but I am yet to receive a collection mail from tls center. I am thinking of going there tomorrow or should I just chill for the mail.

Hello house,

Am confused about booking an appointment with tls and how to send supporting document. My husband is trying to book his appointment at ikeja but not straightforward. we looking for assisted appointment but no option available.

i want to be the one to send all supporting documents from the UK. what service will I have to pick ( self service or assisted UK scanning) or can we both upload the document on the self service option?

Hello house please I need advice, for my sister who wants to apply for settlement. She applied for her transcript and certificate last year September in her university and she got all the the letters to submit to Naric, the letters were dated last year steptember. Due to some circumstances, she could not submit . Now she wants to apply to Naric for verification of English and we are confused if we should use the letter dated last year or request for another one from the school ( but I don't know if the school will agree to give her another one). Kindly advise if one can use dates that is now one year to apply. Thank you

Hello everyone.
Please has anyone noticed that it's almost impossible to get an appointment for spouse visa at Tls ikeja. I have been trying to secure an appointment for almost 2 weeks now.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Ayotunde71: 7:58pm On Oct 19, 2020
You can use the old one you collected a year ago, as long as it's a letter stating the medium of instruction and evaluation during her study was English...you are good.

I submitted my passport for my Visa to be issued because I had to appeal. I got an email 2weeks ago stating that a decision has been on my application and that it as been dispatched hence the reason why I asked if I should go to the collection center to check if my passport is ready for pick up because I am yet to receive a pick up mail.

Hi everyone,
My husband and I have been gathering documents for spouse visa application with the hope of submitting on the 25th of October.
But unfortunately, his work ended due to Covid 19 untill December 2020 (he was not sacked but asked to resume back by Dec). He was stopped since September. Which means the last time he worked was August.
Is it still possible for us to continue with the Application?
Or what can we do?
I am devastated due to the 28days rule for payslip.

Also, is Covid concession applicable in this case?

Unfortunately, he would not pass the 28 days rule assessment (it's for reasons like this, that rule was put in place)..........

I hope he gets called back in December..... Then you start counting your 6 months, from December.........

Alternatively, he starts looking for another job ASAP .........

This will be all about the info you entered into the application form and the paper documents you submitted, its about how genuine your marriage is.

So basically you and your hubby should be able to answer questions about your marriage

Good morning house.

My Tuberculosis certificate will expire on the 30th of this month and I'm still expecting a decision to be made on my application.

Is it possible to travel with an expired TB certificate? Has anyone here traveled with an expired TB certificate before?

Thank you.
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Flexvilla: 9:12pm On Oct 24, 2020

Hello house, I applied for a student visa last month when I went to pick my passport there was visa on it but it has been cancled with a red biro. Reason for that was.. They said I had an entry vias to Gambia and they said it was not genuine but I genuinely went to Gambia with my wife December 2017 and the immigration officer at the point of entry stamped our passport. I have then appeal with evidences like Filght Ticket, Boarding pass, Hotel ticket, pictures , videos. But it's more than 3 weeks I haven't gotten mail or reply I want to know if anyone has had this issue and how long it took and if there is anything else I need to do. Thanks
