This is in addition to what bligs wrote.
I know someone that used the graduate entry approach but she was a nurse from Nigeria and did excellently in her academics.
The fees won't be less than 30k per annum for most universities.
Apaty from uniforms and equipment which shouldn't be upto $500 there isn't any substantial spending except if you like buying textbooks like no tomorrow grin
If she can associate herself with number 1. God ( those here can testify to this) cheesy and real information givers she should be okay.
Simulations aren't time consuming. However she should prepare herself for placements ( I hate those) depending on what level you are. There's a large possibility that she won't be able to work. Some schools put placements during the holidays undecided Nevertheless it is possible to raise her school fees but she would need to be prudent in spending and also have enough to cover the first year when coming in.
If she ticks all boxes, she won't need the extra points by schooling in regional areas but if she can get those, goooooddd cos Nurses are in demand.

You didn't provide enough info but nevertheless,
* How related is your intending program to your initial degree?
* Did you apply to AL1, AL2 or AL3 Institution?
* Any educational gap and did you detailed it in your SOP?

Thank you very much for your contribution.

Pls what’s the benefit if AL1 universities over others? The little checks I did on google didn’t bring up much. It just said “it’s low risk immigration “ and listed the universities under the category. But no clear explanation was given.

Mind explaining a little? Thank u.

Sir, the school I chose was an Al2 institution and the course I applied for was still inline with my Bsc. I graduated 2015 and I have bn working in that same field since then. In my SOP, I stated that I'll be accompanied by my kids and husband although my husband will be coming back after we get settled. I also mentioned that I have had visa denial in the past (canada but it was a tourist visa) however, I have been to the USA and did not over stay. All these and more were stated in my SOP b4 I was given an Offer letter although it took them close to a month to grant me the conditional offer. I had two sponsors (my elder bro and my uncle) and their bank statement altogether was 25m

I am also looking to get a PR via the student route. Having read here that best bet to get admission for MSc and Visa is via notable agents .So I sought and paid for the services of an agent as regards the adminision and visa. I am a practicing medical Dr with 3years working experience, have been able to raise a significant sum of money . My question is what are the chances of getting the visa , m not been pessimistic here just trying to weight my options. Although the agents claimed getting Aussie visa for study purpose is almost 90% so long the proof of funds is genuine. Pls how true is this?

No strong home ties, is your husband working and did you include it in your SOP?
Did you make arrangements to fulfill the condition in your offer before applying for grant?
The good thing is that you can try again but go for AL1 Uni and a more convincing home ties.

Yes he's working and yes I did mention it in my SOP but I failed to give enough prove that he will be coming back to his place of work.
The conditions they requested for was my SOP, reference letter from my previous employers and bank statement of my sponsor which I sent.
Ok, I'll go for Al1 school then.
Thanks so much for everything

Answer the following questions:

1) what's the name of the school you applied for admission?

2) How many are your kids you intend travelling with?

In my opinion, #25m is hardly enough proof of fund for 4 persons; I assume you have 2 kids.

You are good to go Doc.
Apply for Master of public health or related course.
With sufficient documents(work experience, prior qualifications), proof of funds and home ties, your visa is certain. Get on-shore, relate with the docs here as you progress your study prepare, for your board exams and assessment. The journey is not that rossy, but its worth it when you begin your practice here.
Oz needs doctors more than you need the PR, you just qualify first.

I would rather advise that you write your UK exams plab 1 and plab 2.. work in the UK and apply from the UK to Australia.
Expect you are happy to be out of practice for the next 3-4 years.
I have seen a lot of doctors so depressed after taking this route you intend to follow.

Hello everyone, thanks to everyone for their contribution on this thread, it has been helpful alot.

Presently I got a rejection from swiburne tech uni for reasons I do not understand.

My agent applied to other schools like RMIT and DEAKIN and i am still waiting for their response.

Pls what could have been the reason for the rejection?

I have bs.c in Biological Science and tried applying for Ms.c Biotechnology.
