Igbo youths under the aegis of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council (OYC) Worldwide has insisted Igbo will not support the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election.

ABN TV reports that the group in a statement signed by President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Secretary-General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike said the attempt by the leadership of the PDP to compel the Ebonyi state governor to reverse his decision of dumping the party to APC is wasted effort.

It said, "The Apex Igbo Youth Socio-cultural Organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had described the Tuesday's Persuasive meeting of National Leadership of PDP led by Prince Uche Secondus National working Committee, to convince the Southeast Governors Forum Chairman and Ebonyi State Governor, Engr Dave Umahi at Ebonyi State liaison office Abuja was the height of PDP'S deceit, last kick of a dying Horse and gathering of vultures to Continue to rape Igbo votes Unjustly especially in 2023 against the PDP Zoning Formula enshrined in her constitution that favours Southeast to produce the 2023 presidential Ticket and consequently produce President Muhammadu Buhari's Successor in 2023.

PDP and APC are the same. But PDP on the hand are a disgrace to themselves. A party that doesn't understand the meaning of loyalty should be shown the exit door. All these APC propaganda to throw Igbos in the middle of their strategy by shouting the "elusive Igbo presidency" will trick nobody.

PDP knows APC's gameplan to keep rotating the presidency between NW and SW zones, that it why it zoned the 2023 presidency to the Northeast (NE) and the VP to Southeast (SE). That is the surest strategy to victory and APC knows it.

Their APC trick is to somehow use faceless "Ibo" youths to try and force PDP to change its winning formula so that their game plan of rotating the presidency only between NW and SW will work.
