Sheuns:
No be everyone get mentors that they talk to. I personally don’t have any person I can call a mentor except myself. I just try to learn from as much people as I can. I started learning from my Dad. Others are through books and their real life acts.

And remember to make good use of the internet. Some skills I have now, I learnt all from the internet.
no one makes it alone my brother. Consider your father as your mentor.

Only number 5 is the only thing that can sure get you anywhere close to success in Nigeria. Then we can start talking about number 4.
The rest will get you nowhere.

That no 2 shall, you might still end up meeting broke ass guys that are coming there to get connected too,

Nice write up..

The worst years of my life was believing his No 2... most times same motive that brought you there, brought majority there, in the end you spend on expensive drinks trying to look rich for people packaged to look rich to meet you...

If you have something to offer, the right people would find you.

Number 2 is just like one should rather take AIRPEACE than taking PEACE MASS TRANSIT.
It's wisdom.

When you board FLIGHTS you meet a whole different set of people....
U are likely to encounter really troublesome people on d Roads.
But Flight puts you on a different pedestal, where you should be ready to meet people of that pedestal.

Op how do help some group of people who have already given up in life, they 're even scared to try anything new because they believe it will never work (fixed mindset). They believe their efforts alone cannot lead to success.
Other group believed that your father or uncle must be very rich before you can be successful.
The next group are people who set their mind that nobody can be successful in Nigeria without traveling abroad.

Nice write up i agree . But this country makes things more worst for people. it takes the Grace of God many times to suceed here. the same person that could not achieve anything in naija will travel abroad and achieve so much within a short period because the environment naturaly support you to succeedwhile here you are fighting so many factors.

A lot of Nigerians abroad don’t make it as well.

The trouble is many of you are waiting for non existent jobs, and many more want to live like Davido/Whizkid when you haven’t done anything.
