Benjaniblinks:

Since you have access to a external keyboard

press the Windows key, type Restore and press Enter.

Using TAB, select Open System Restore

Press Enter to move forward by selecting the recommended restore point.

To confirm the recovery point, select Finish and press enter.

Windows will restore the system to the state it was in before the selected date.

The process may take a long time to complete, so wait for the PC to restart and check if the operation was successful.

If System Restore fails, you can repeat the steps again by choosing a different Restore Point.

Thanks. It's currently initializing.

Have you taken it to a technician?

Probably a board issue...

It just started today. This evening. Was working one moment. The next? It was frozen.

I had similar issues some weeks ago. The system was thoroughly worked on. Even got new keyboard installed. Can't imagine having to do that again barely two months later.

Could it be a driver issue? This is frustrating

First of all see if ur laptop is detecting HDD, power it on and immediately click the f9 key.

You will see the list of boot options, if your hdd is detected you will see it there, after that all you need to do is install an operating system.

Will this mean that I will flash the system.

Good day Tech Gurus.
My HP laptop suddenly went off while I was making use of it and plugged in. I tried severally to put it on but will just blink lights on the power button and keyboard and go off again almost immediately.

I left it for some days, roughly 3 weeks and tried again after removing the battery and holding down the power button for like a minute. After some time, it came back on. But once I plug my laptop charger, it goes off immediately and I will have to wait for some long time and repeat the process of holding down the power button for a minute before it comes back on again. So, what I now do is to charge while it is off and unplug to allow it run on battery when I want to make use of it.

Please, what can be the cause of this problem and how can it be worked on so I can use my laptop even when it is charging. Thank you.

1 It could be the board power delivery
2 Is the battery good? If not, remove it and use the charger
3 it could also be a faulty charger
