For those who don't know Phrankleen, he is practically the only visible person on YouTube who has a platform for discussing diaspora issues. However, he is extremely biased and highly irresponsible with the kind of information he puts out there and is deceiving thousands of gullible folks abroad.

These are my top 5 Reasons why Nigerians and other Africans should be careful with this guy:

1. Hypocrisy
When it comes to the issue of "Moving back to Africa" Phrankleen is the BIGGEST hypocrite of them all. There are numerous videos on his channel where Phrankleen can be seen talking about how blacks are 'second class citizens' in the West and how we should move back to "live like kings" in our motherland.
Yes its true that we aren't exactly first class citizens abroad, however, Phrankleen will not tell you that the average Nigerian is NOT a first class citizen in their own country either! A country where there are very little career prospects for the youth, where everyone is forced to become an 'entrepreneur' doing petty trade for a living like small chops, hair, makeup, barbing, poultry etc.., a country where you gotta know someone who knows someone before you can get anywhere, a country that treats Lebanese, Chinese and Indians more favourably over it's own citizens, a country where a rich man can use the police to oppress you, where law enforcement harass, extort and assault you. No, Phrankleen will never discuss these issues because it will totally flaw the ridiculous "African Utopia" agenda that he so desperately pushes.
A major red flag his followers fail to ask themselves is: why is Phrankleen sitting pretty in the UK and asking YOU to relocate? Why hasn't he relocated himself since Nigeria is such a paradise?
The irony is that once the whole #EndSars debacle gained traction, Phrankleen found himself having to fess up to how jacked up Nigeria truly is.. however he wasn't gonna go down without a fight.. he still found a way to somehow reinforce his hypocrisy by doing what he does best which is to attribute ALL of Africa's problems to the West. Hence my second point...

2. Blaming 'the West' for Everything - Lack of Accountability
Phrankleen loves to put out the message that Africa is in the state it is in because 'the West' have intentionally crippled the economy in order to drive us out of Africa so that they can takeover. Now while that might be partly true, common sense doesn't tell Phrankleen that the West has no power to do anything in Africa that our GREEDY LEADERS don't allow! A camp divided against itself will surely fall. Is the West responsible for the day to day violence, corruption and nepotism that we met out to each other on a daily basis in our own country?

Imagine, this same Phrankleen can be seen talking from two ends of his mouth in a recent video on the #EndSars saga where he urged Nigerians to appeal to 'the West' to intervene in Nigeria's matter! The same West that he preaches against and tells us they are solely responsible for the decay in Africa? lipsrsealed The saddest part in that video was when a viewer called to call him out on his hypocrisy, Phrankleen did what he does even better! he cut him off! Which leads me to my third point....

3. Extremely Rude & Childish Behaviour
Phrankleen has a habit of cutting people off during his live call in shows. He also deletes comments and blocks anyone who speaks up for the truth. Even those who simply state that Nigeria is not as perfect as he claims, he will quickly delete the comment before more people see it.. why? so that no one can spoil his ridiculous narrative. Phrankleen is also extremely rude and insulting towards anyone with a different opinion to his. Despite being in his late forties, he is a spineless coward who can't take any slight criticism and results to childish and feminine attics when he doesn't get his way.

4. A few of his "stories" are made up
Don't get me wrong, some of his stories you can tell are genuinely written by viewers... however, Phrankleen has at least 3 or 4 "storytime" videos which anyone with a discerning mind can tell are bogus, made up stories, concocted for the sole purpose of spreading his pathetic agenda. From his videos you can tell he is someone who has been dealt a bad hand in life - possibly looked down on by family members back home as he isn't doing so well for himself. Therefore, he has made it his full time job (via YouTube) to speak ill of family members of people abroad, how they are all scammers back home, how they judge you based on what you have achieved etc.. to the point of even concocting stories that make no sense just to vent out his inward vitriol.

5. He is bitter and spreads misinformation that could destroy the lives of gullible Nigerians.
Phrankleen lives in a council house of which he pays £400 a month (dude admitted this himself) - he is broke and YouTube is his bread and butter hence why he is selling lies and manipulation for profit. Phrankleen also has an ongoing case in court where he is claiming to be a victim of prejudice.... now anyone who has gone to court before will know it's a highly stressful procedure and can affect one's mental stability.
I write this piece really as a warning to gullible folks out there who may want to make life-altering decisions based on what this charlatan called Phrankleen tells you - do you really wanna take advise from a broke, bitter soul with a skewed perception of life? Don't let that British accent fool you, he is rotten to the core!

Bonus point: Phrankleen is covertly jealous of successful Nigerians abroad and often speaks ill of Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT contract workers etc... and criticising how they choose to spend their hard earned money!
yea I know him very well. He has made important points especially africans building businesses but his issue with the West is where I don't support him. He has deep grudges with white people.

The issue is, he's a scam artist who plays on people's emotions to get paid. I will not put down any man's hustle, but what he's doing is dangerous and unethical in my opinion. He knows there are many losers like him who have been abroad for donkey years and haven't accomplished anything. So they blame the system and racism for their lack of success. So they come on his channel to vent. Or he knows you have many African Americans tired of racism thinking africa is better. So they come and listen to his African pipe dreams. These are his audiences.

If you dont fit into these categories, he'll block you, then shame you. With all the racism and 2nd class citizen talk, I can't remember the last time the US or UK military opened fire on innocent black protesters. As for the woman who left canada. The same tactic Phranklin uses was used on her. "You're a 2nd class citizen here". "Theres racism everywhere". Blah .. blah.... Now no job, probably doing Ashewo on the side, there protesting against SARS, etc. Now she'd take Canadian racism any day over what she's going through. And her advisor? He didn't even have the time to protest against SARS abroad. He's too busy making his dollars, living his comfortable life.
he did protest end sars

Not in the literal sense. But playing on people's emotions to get more views/likes = to make more money. Do you disagree with the other points?

He was born in France and grew up in the UK. Like most Nigerian youths born and bred abroad, they tend not to understand such opportunities they have. I suspect he wasted his opportunities, and is now in his 40's, with kids, living in council housing (housing for the poor). He has now realized his wasted opportunities, and is taking out his bitterness on others. Such as the white/western countries. His parents and family members have told him he's a F-up I'm sure. Hence his hatred for them.

His "I'm going back to naija" gist is nothing but to save face. He's been saying this for years, and will not be going anywhere. If he needs the UK government to survive, what will happen to him in naija ? He won't survive and he knows it.

Ok sir, but the fact you disagree with opinions doesn't mean you should hide or delete people's comments. Besides, how do you disagree with facts? Phrankleen has admitted his living conditions himself as I mentioned in my original post.. he also tends to get overly emotional about family members who have looked down on him. This is public info you can easily see on his channel.

Haha, I thought was the only one who saw the hypocrisy in that Phrankleen guy.

These woke Nigerians abroad who cry about racism and white supremacy all day should be avoided like a plague if you plan on migrating. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM.

Tell them to come back home and see how they'll shy away from what you said because they know they won't survive here. It's a fact.

Phrankleen sounds like a jobless guy who lives of YouTube earnings and assistance from the government so he will continue to spill out trash for his viewers to get more income. It's as easy as that.

I stopped watching him a long time ago. His channel used to be known as "Nigerian foodie" or something like that before he started all these "woke" and "Africa is the best" stuff. grin

Big deal? He admitted going through tough time at a certain stage of his life in the UK and now you have problem with that?

He has every right to be angry with any family member who might have wronged him just as you have the right to disagree with the way he handles certain issues.

I have problem with him when he go on about western govt. too much and conspiracy theories but it’s his channel, I decided not to watch his clips when he start digging deep into certain areas.

Stop watching if his content does not suit your belief.

A content provider who builds his own platform and is clear about what he will or will not accept can and should block people that thinks they can use his platform to promote their own agenda.

It is now t by force to listen to Phrankleen and by blocking you he is doing you and him a favour... As to the idea that he should be neutral - I laugh in Swahili; so he should just be a Presenter with no opinions?

Phrankleen was at EndSars protest and he had to travel miles to get there. So the USA did not invite the National Guard to quell protests and people were not maimed even with their so-called non-lethal projectiles? Nja is bad but let us have perspective here. Lots of protests in France but CNN is not there trying to cause wahala for French government - arms blown off etc...

Lastly, the UK is not what it was 20 or 25 year s ago, just getting to the UK is not the be all and end all... Not for those already doing reasonably well in Nja and then they leave everything behind and take family just because someone said it is great or they wanted to leave the country because it is not so good

There are many Nigerians fairing better than those abroad despite all the problems we have in Nja. If someone give you advice, then do your own research and then come to your own decision not because of a blogger.

Nja is in recession but despite that the UK and many entrepreneurs still think it is a place of growth - go figure!

Someone advice you to go into Agriculture, you are complaining - it is what we seriously need in Nja and it is profitable if done well and with open eyes from scammers and insecurity in Nja.

Don't go to Phrankleen's platform if you are ultra-religious and want to spout such nonsense, if you are the sentimental type or if you are uber-traditon and family centric. Avoid him but if you want to learn from othet people's mistakes and successes then listen and learn.

The same people moaning about Phrankleen will obey pastors and their religious sect doctrines that are not progressive at all.

Man working in a bank and doing well takes all his family to UK on the advice of a friend and that friend did not even meet him at the airport and switched off his phone. They ended up homeless and have to beg for food from churches and food bank. They were also immediately homeless because they were meant to stay with the friend... Wicked abroad people!
The last topic about a family losing their babies because of religious nonsense at naming ceremony and scrubbing the child with traditional fibre sponge is enough to hail Phrankleen for his educative contents. Sad folks just come here to bash him and talk about EndSars or how bad Nja is - Phrankleen knows that and we all do too but people still live in Nja and are doing well if not better than those of us that work ourselves to a early grave and not able to enjoy the money in the UK or abroad...

Where's Phrankleen " Mama put shop" on YouTube?

Let him come back to Nigeria and survive on the fish poultry business is being bragging about

Let him come and continue his YouTube vlog with Nepa light.

For those that refuse to send money to your parents because Phrankleen say so..remember old age is knocking on your door.
Not all familirs are bad...bad economy and tough life make people behave badly.

Just think of how you were in Nigeria and how easy life is in abroad even though you work hard but efficienctly.

We can blame white to some extent about our predicament but 90% of Africa problem lies in within Africans.

How long has he really stayed in Nigeria?
You’ve been in the Uk for over 20 years and you are basing your judgment about Nigeria on short vacations and what you see in the news.

Oga come and spend 3months and see as e dey go

I saw a similar video where a girl was screaming that Nigerians should stop coming to Uk school for Masters. Now they have post study, i advices her to take the video down cos it isn’t valid anymore lol.

This yoruba man that worships Idol. Nonsense.

The day I went to his channel and saw him paying homeage to his idols, I stopped regarding him as somebody.

When UK opened their doors to teachers from Africa including Nigeria to apply for QTS to come and work in UK, this man went and posted a video discouraging struggling Nigerian Teachers not to take the opportunity saying that the 26,000 Pounds per year salary UK is offering is rubbish.

This man has forgotten that some Graduate Teachers in Nigeria are collecting N25K per month as salary.

Yet some people doing Care in that same UK are collecting 10 Pounds per hour. Minimum wage.

Tell me, is that not Witchcraft behavior.

He actually sat down abroad to make such video.

Tell me, is that not Witchcraft behavior.

He actually sat down abroad to make such video.

The Baba na Witch.
Re: Why Nigerians Abroad Should Stop Listening To Phrankleen by Konquest: 5:28am On Jan 04
sweetmelanin:

Bump.

I have to disagree with you, he talks more sense than nonsense. I watch his channel, may not agree with everything he says but by far he talks sense

I don't knw that guy and haven't listened to him..

But one thing is sure, u can't be talking about a place when u don't live there..

Charity begins at home.

Let him come back so that we all can build this great country together.

If u want to japa, japa legally.

Until Phrankleen comes back and stay in Nigeria that's when I will take him seriously.

What's is job in UK? Atleast his friend that's selling suya is not doing bad at all

Where's Phrankleen " Mama put shop" on YouTube?

Let him come back to Nigeria and survive on the fish poultry business is being bragging about

Let him come and continue his YouTube vlog with Nepa light.

the guy is a failure. i stopped listening to his channel when i discovered have any thing to offer Nigerians than claiming NIGERIA is far better than UK.

Phrankleen come back to obodo Nigeria naw
