I applied for a drivers license since April. It’s been stories of no network and no server. The man helping me out even collect the exact same amount he collected before just to help me hasten the process but nothing yet. I have even forgotten about it already. I texted him today and it’s still the same story.

Why make someone go through the stress of applying for DL and parting with money when they know their system whatever isn’t working?

I have been driving since then without a drivers license. Nigeria is really a mess.

I go leave the license for them.

I don't think it's that difficult if you handle it yourself. It's possible the guy has spent your money, only to resort to telling stories to cover up.

I did mine myself and it's doesn't take up to two weeks before I was called to collect it.

1. I went to VIO office that I need a driver's licence and I was told I need to attend a training on a particular date which I did
2. After the training, I was told to drive under the supervision of one of the officers and was certified.
3. After that I went online to apply and make payment for the new driver licence. I printed out the form and take it to their office for signature
4. I then take the signed form to FRSC office for data capture. That's all

I did all registration within a week but another two weeks for the licence to be out.

This might be different based on your location. I did mine in Minna, Niger State
