Images of green mambas I'm seeing don't match this snake he killed though

And it seems the green mamba is really called can be subdivided into the eastern green mamba they can be found in Eastern Africa

Nigeria isn't an eastern African country so I don't think this kind of snake can be found here

Then there's the western green mamba which can be found in Western Africa Nigeria inclusive
It's the same, there is western green mamba as well. they are not different

So after washing my clothes today, I hung some of the laundry on the line, Hours later, I came to pack them in for ironing, And to my greatest surprise, I saw this little reptile Chilling in the pocket of my trousers with its head stuck out!!

I was scared at first, Cos I have never killed a snake, I summon the courage, And hit the on the head and that was it!!

I feel like a super hero right now! LOL

This snake is not dangerous their venom is not potent to humans, this particular one , its often mistaken for green mamba

. This is possible if you live in a village or a bushy environment. Snakes are rarely seen in a clean environment devoid of bushes .

Obas101:

bro it's a green mamba mostly resides in trees and found commonly in Africa. do your research well and stop showing ignorance, and it isn't harmless.

Well it could be a tree snake as well

Eastern green mambas haven't been recorded in western Africa
And this image definitely looks nothing like a Western green mamba......

Eastern has a different coloration to western bro

Eastern green mambas have a yellow-green underpart
Western has a yellowish upper part instead and has dark markings on the tips of some of its scales

We're both reading from Wikipedia btw grin grin

You might be right sha.

My tendency to associate with the weird and crazy is worrying, even to me.

But I'll still not near a snake, let alone pat its head even with that.
