How are they not contenders? Can you name one team you sure can beat them 4 out of 7 if spiritual steph returns? Unless Lakers add a legit gunner like a Beal, they will beat the Lakers. KCP cannot be the most reliable sharpshooter on the Lakers team, as good as he is.

Just so it doesnt look like Im downing Klay, if I had to choose between Klay and Steph being injured, I would choose Klay. I can live with Klay getting 30. If Steph gets 30, game over because he is a very good floor general and will get every one else involved. I still see warriors making noise this year. Steph has a 22ppg player, a No 2. Draft pick and a possible hall of famer as sidekicks. He shouldn't complain.

The fact that Klay would be missing two years of his prime is pretty disheartening to put it mildly and you wonder if this is the last occurrence and how much it affects his game moving forward. He might not be a high flyer but his game is predicated on a lot of off the ball movement on both ends of the floor

The Warriors have enough to compete. If Wiggins and Oubre can improve their efficiency and shot selection it's hard to say they are not a 5th seed at worst. I will definitely take them ahead of any team not named the Lakers,Clippers and Nuggets

Naah, a new agent don't mean much. And he opted out cos he probably wants a few more millions.

THT is more of a 2 guard sha, but yes, he can fill that role of ceremonial point guard if he's playing alongside LeBron, just like Bradley did and KCP did in the playoffs.

You're right. The team is ridiculously stacked. Hard to see them not repeating as things stand especially with the Nuggets foolishly letting Jerami Grant walk and not strengthening

I don't trust Hayward to stay healthy and therein lies the problem

It's about time they make a big leap next season. Can see Orlando dropping out of the playoffs
