He was accountant at area council's Secretariat in Abuja ... I think the year of service should be 10 to 12 years

My late Aunt was also an accountant in a state ministry. Her children got 6.4 mill sha out of the total package of 8.8 mill.

But wait, hope death benefit is the same with gratuity oo. Cuz nah gratuity me know.

Took them like a year before the money came out. Go to pension unit of your state and talk with any reasonable person there.
Reason why they got 6.4 instead of 8.8 is because of Nigerian factor. You bribe those that have to be bribed. And please don't try to form tough oo. There are people that followed due process and are yet to get theirs since 2012.
And lawyer too will get some payment because you will need a lawyer to do some work for you before getting it.

I will advise you process the contributory pension first..that's easier but u need contact to be faster..

Get letter of adm from high court of your area, and take to his pfa..they will process it fr for you
